2 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm (Daniel 6:3). od has already put in you an excellent spirit. In the Gscriptures, Daniel typified one who dealt excellently in his affairs, because an excellent spirit was in him. Anointed men and women in the Old Testament had the Holy Spirit come upon them, but today, He lives in you! He's the Spirit of excellence; hence, it's His ministry to cause you to excel in everything you do. When you recognise this truth, walking in excellence will become a natural occurrence, even as you excel in every endeavour. In Genesis 12:2, God said to Abraham, I will make you great. It was God's choice to make him great, and if you are born again, you re Abraham s seed and the seed of greatness is in your spirit. That greatness is manifested through the excellent character of everything that is connected to you and in everything that you do. To excel means to distinguish oneself, to stand out and surpass laid down standards, and to do something to a greater degree than the normal or required standards. Invariably, in your job, at school, in business or ministry, you ought to stand out from the crowd! Your results should be impeccable, outstanding and inspiring. You don t have to pray to God to make you excel, for excellence is in you; all you need do is recognise it and express it. Choose to excel; make a conscious effort to improve your mind by studying the right materials. Become studious; don t loaf or laze around because laziness isn't a quality of an excellent spirit. Never think small or see yourself as small. You're the offspring of the great God of glory; His seed of greatness is in you. Go the extra mile; reject mediocrity and mundanity from your life. It's your set time to do great things. This is your set time to excel, and it doesn t require your struggling; it s the life you ve been called to live. Remember, you were born into greatness! Your family history is replete with stories and feats of greatness. I m not talking about your earthly family, but the family of God to which you belong. This is your time to do great things in the Kingdom of God. Do exploits in your job, business, academics and other areas of your life. Keep excelling in the name of Jesus because success is in you! 4 Words are insufficient to describe the glory, power and impact of the 2015 International Easter Youth Camp with Pastor Chris, which held from 2nd 9th April, 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa. On all counts, it was an experience beyond compare! Youths from countries spanning all six continents were present for this now highly anticipated epochal event. The countries represented were Angola, Australia, Belgium, Belarus, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, El Salvador, Fiji, France, Gabon, Germany, Honduras, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Namibia, Nigeria, Russia, Seychelles, South Africa, South Korea, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, 4

5 Swaziland, The Netherlands, Togo, Tonga, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Long before the start of the programme, the anticipation and excitement of the youths was awe-inspiring. They'd been enlisted to attend this special and destiny-shaping meeting with the man of God, Pastor Chris, and their joy could not be hidden! I am so excited and very expectant for the great and wonderful things we're going to see, Kimberly from Honduras shared. We've come to make an impact in our nation and change our generation. I'm so grateful to Pastor Chris for the opportunity to attend this year's Youth Camp! The high anticipation and keenness of the youths was widespread, particularly as they heard of the testimonies and exploits recorded by previous attendees. Zoe from Australia had this inspiring testimony: In 2014, after the Camp with Pastor Chris, the Word I received set fire in my bones! When I returned to school, I started winning souls; such that even my teachers noticed. I had a friend who was sick; I ministered the Word to her and she received her healing instantly! This Year's Camp had an unprecedented line up of programmes with the underlying theme, Contending for the Faith, which in itself was highly instructive and underscored the mind of the Spirit of God for today's Christian youth to stand for the faith of the Gospel; regardless of circumstances and irrespective of the cost. Some of the novel programmes they enjoyed at the Camp included interactive Bible Study classes, historical documentaries on Christian martyrs and reformers in line with the theme of 5

6 the Camp, highly educative competitions, as well as inspiring country presentations in dance, music and drama. These were in addition to the special closed-door teaching meetings with the man of God, Pastor Chris, where he taught on 3 Important Keys for a Successful Christian Life which he explained thus: They are: the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the Communion of the Holy Spirit. If you have these three, it doesn't matter where they put you, what comes against you, or what you face, you'll come out victorious! A special feature at the Camp was the daily morning drills and physical workouts which mirrored a military camp. Most memorably this year, during one of the morning drills, the man of God, Pastor Chris, joined the youths in the exercise. It was truly a day to remember! In the course of the Camp, the youths also had 6

7 the opportunity to visit landmark sites in Johannesburg as well as major commercial and trade centres, adding to the richness of the programme line-up. The culmination of the Camp was the special impartation service with Pastor Chris. He ministered the anointing to each one of the youths, equipping and strengthening them for greater effectiveness in their walk of faith and ministry of the Gospel in their respective nations. You'll accomplish so much by the power of God, the man of God prophesied specially to them. During this precious time, the man of God also took time to minister to those who had health challenges and many received healing and wholeness in their bodies. In the closing moments of the Camp, the man of God admonished the eager and excited youths, Let Christ be manifested in you. The fire of God has been set inside you; let it burn. Refuse to be ordinary! Your generation has to have a voice, and that voice is you. It's your turn, it's your day; you are the witness now. Summing up this most extraordinary experience, Milton from Zimbabwe testified, I came with an expectation for this meeting; I came and I received all that the Lord planned for me. Now, I'm ready to go back and shake my nation; my country will never be the same; Africa will never be the same. We're going to transform nations and make impact! Glory to God! The 2015 International Easter Youth Camp was truly a phenomenal time of fellowship and elevation for all who attended. A new breed of leaders have been birthed and as the Word of God is sure, their fire will burn in their nations, and their impact for the Gospel will reverberate all around the world! 7

8 Francois Van De Ross Francois Van De Ross, 46, was healed of mixed connective tissue disorder when he came to the Healing School. When the man of God ministered to him, he got up from his stretcher and walked. He speaks of total liberation and restoration since he received his miracle. Shereen Govindasamy Shereen Govindasamy, 48, suffered unbearable pain in her back and stomach for 6 years due to kidney cyst and abdominal pain. When Pastor Chris laid hands on her at the Healing School, there was a release of power into her body and she was totally healed; no more pain or discomfort. 8

9 Vida Osei Vida Osei testified that 2 years of pain and suffering came to an end when she encountered the power of the anointing at the Healing School. She was healed of ovarian cancer after the man of God, Pastor Chris, ministered to her. Nonhlanhla Ndaba Nonhlanhla Ndaba, a 37-year-old lady, had been diagnosed with acute encephalitis; she was unable to walk and regularly had uncontrolled fits and muscle spasms. Seeking relief and an end to the pain, she made her way to the Healing School. She happily relates how she received strength to walk again when Pastor Chris laid hands on her, and encourages others to be strong in faith and take hold of their miracles, for this is the day of change! 9

10 1. Junk Less: Avoid the temptation of junking on fastfoods. Take alternate routes to avoid seeing drivethrough restaurants. If you must eat fast food, choose lower-calorie options like grilled chicken or low-fat chilli. Also look for fruit or veggie options and order small sizes; avoid 'value' meals. Sip water instead of sugary drinks. 2. Snack Healthier: Instead of reaching for cookies or chips, enjoy a small handful of nuts, or low-fat yogurt. Take advantage of fresh fruits in season and enjoy refreshing options at different times of the year. Only snack when you're hungry not to relieve stress and eat one serving at a time. 3. Dine Out Less: Plan every day, so that your only option isn't a restaurant. Cook more than you need, and freeze half. Then you'll have frozen meals you can take out whenever you need them. You can even make easy-to-fix healthy foods like oatmeal with fruit for lunch or dinner. 4. Avoid Mindless Eating: In addition to eating only when you're hungry, watch yourself; when you feel satisfied before you feel full STOP EATING, even if there's still food on your plate. Don't sit in front of the TV or computer when you eat. Multitasking leads to overeating. Pay attention to your food. 5. Snack Less at Work: Get unhealthy snacks out of your office or at least out of plain sight. If you tend to graze mindlessly at work, don't keep food at your desk. You snack less if you don't have them within easy reach. Keep it at least 2 meters away from your seat. The distance makes you think each time you grab a bite. 6. Eat Smart at Restaurants/Parties: Planning helps you make smarter choices when dining out. Have a healthy snack before you leave for the buffet. At the restaurant, cut your meals in half. If at a party, limit portions of desserts and high-calorie dishes to just a taste. Once you've eaten, step away from the food and avoid conversations around the buffet table. 7. Eat Less Sugar: Give up one sugary soda a day. Cutting just one can of regular cola means losing over 30 grams of sugar or about 8 teaspoons from your diet. Replace sodas and other sugary drinks with water, or unsweetened tea. Fresh fruit has less sugar than fruits canned in syrup. 8. Eat Breakfast Daily: If you're too rushed in the morning to have breakfast, take it with you to work or school and consider portion sizes carefully. Even if you don't like typical breakfast foods, it's important to eat something in the morning to fuel your body. 9. Learn to Say 'No': Stay strong when it comes to eating healthy. The waiter might tell you that bread is served compulsorily with soup. Your co-worker might pressure you to try her homemade cooking. Remember that every bite adds up, so it's important not to give in over and over. Explain if you want to, or just politely decline. You don't owe people an explanation, but you owe yourself good health. 10. Don't Overeat: Think small portions. Trade large plates for smaller ones. Use a tablespoon to dish out portions. Think about what you put on your plate to make sure you really want it. Serve from the cooker instead of the table, so that second helpings aren't right in front of you. Eat slowly so your body has time to tell your brain you're full. 10

11 And my worst fears have all come true (Job 3:25 CEV). any have erroneously thought that it was God who permitted the devil to buffet Job Mand make him suffer so he would be humble. That's not true! Job's fear was his undoing! By voicing his fears, he created a platform for Satan to come in and mess things up in his life. Job was a man whom God greatly blessed and protected. Satan knew this, for he said, hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he Hath on every side? thou has blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land (Job 1:10). Satan had hitherto tried to attack Job and found that the man was heavily fortified by God; there was a spiritual hedge of protection around him. How then did Satan gain access through that hedge to attack Job? Job 3:25 reveals what happened: Job allowed the spirit of fear to take a hold of his heart. Despite God's protection over his life, which even Satan attested to, Job lamented, the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came (Job 3:25-26). Hence, God said unto Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power (Job 1:12 CEV). Job's problem was his fear, and fear hinders faith. Fear is actually negative faith; it's a demonstration of faith in the ability of the adversary to hurt you. According to the scriptures, God doesn't alter His Word. The moment Job started talking his fears, he began digging holes in the protective hedge God had built around him. Ecclesiastes 10:8 says, He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. Job delivered his goods to Satan by talking and acting fear. Never talk fear or give voice to words inspired by fear. Continually fill your heart with the Word of God, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). When you fill your heart with the Word, your mouth will of necessity speak from the rich deposit of the Word in your spirit. That way, in moments of crisis, you'll find yourself uttering God's Word of faith and power that'll change things in your favour. CONFESSIONS The joy of the Lord is my strength. I have the life of God in me; therefore, my health is perfect. I am sound and strong. I am getting stronger by the day because my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord! The Word is working mightily in me! The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and He vitalizes my mortal body. Health, strength, victory and prosperity are mine now by the power in the name of Jesus. I refuse to acknowledge any sickness, hindrance or limitation in my life. I refuse to fear, I refuse to be defeated and I refuse to be sick! I refuse to let my body be subject to any form of sickness or disease. I am more than a conqueror; the divine life of God is in me. Amen! I'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; I'm dead to this world but alive to God. My members are yielded to God as instruments of righteousness; therefore sin or sickness has no dominion over my body. Hallelujah! I am a new creation in Christ Jesus; I am superior to all forms of sicknesses and diseases. Divinity is at work in me; I do not get sick because I have the life and nature of God in me. 11
