3 CLASS SCHEDULES AND OFFERINGS: Classes for this session will be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There will be a general prayer and praise service in the Sanctuary between 6:45 pm and 7:15 pm on Tuesdays. Immediately after, students will report to their respective classes for the remainder of the evening session. A light dinner will be served free of charge from 6:00 pm - 6:40 pm for those attending Tuesday night classes. All classes will begin and end promptly. For parents that have children in Tuesday classes, please leave your classes promptly at 9:00 pm to pick up your children. Classes offered this session, with instructors, are as follows: Tuesday Classes: Open Bible Study (ST 920): The Bible, the living Word of God, has the answer to all of the problems of today and tomorrow. The Open Bible Class will help you to understand the doctrine of the Bible and gain knowledge from the word of God. If you hunger and thirst for the word of God and want to know how to apply it in your life, this class will help you. With the topics offered, you can experience the richness of the Bible and engage in studies of chosen texts intended to give you the means of making your studies of the Word more effective. This class teaching will challenge you to study and grow in the Lord, which will help strengthen your walk with the Lord. Instructors: Pastor Eldridge Spearman and Rev. Kevin Fennell Positioning For Change (FS 220): Is your Christian walk deterred by old habits? Do we wait idle for deliverance? Too often we are out of position to receive that needed change from God. Together in this course we can discuss how to position ourselves so that God can work a new thing (2 Corinthians 5:17) in our lives. Co- Instructors: Deacon Daryl Holoman and Deacon Glenda Miller A Study through the Book of Ephesians (BE 270): In this study of Ephesians we will explore God s promises to us and the provision and position that He has already placed us in. Come and study with me how we Sit, Walk, and Stand on God s word. Textbook: A Study Bible Instructor: Min. Pat. Williamson Book of Esther (BE 290): What Makes A Hero? Ask one and you may find a surprising nonchalance: I m sure other people would have done exactly the same thing, they say. I was just in the right place at the right time. People become heroes because they take quick action at the right time, while others stand watching in horror. The true hero recognizes the crisis and moves to meet it. This kind of courage made Esther great-worthy of a book in the Bible. Instructor: Min. Pertina Scott -3-
4 Living in Complete Health (PE 110): Do you have the desire to be in better physical shape or have a closer walk with God, but feel like there are not enough hours in the day? This class will teach you how to live a balanced life. Through this Bible study, students will learn how to live healthy regarding their body, soul, and spirit. This is a boot camp for your entire being! Textbook: First Place 4 Health Bible Study Series, A New Beginning by Christin Ditchfield Instructor: Sister Natesia Johnson Forgiveness/Unforgiveness-Through the Old Testament and Now (ST 150): Long-term unforgiveness is unresolved issues which will hinder future relationships. Forgiveness/Unforgiveness has been a topic in the bible since the very beginning of time starting with Adam and Eve. This is a wonderful time in your Christian life to understand and cope with the issues of forgiveness and unforgiveness as we strive to grow closer to God. Participating in this class will answer and change how you think and deal with forgiveness and unforgiveness. Just like in the bible days the problems that occurred are still happening today, however we can overcome these problems in a way that would be pleasing to God. Let s look at the examples of the Old Testament and apply the solutions to today s living. You will no longer ask the question Whose fault is it? I guarantee that you will come in one way and be transformed for the better when you leave! ANGER MAKES YOU SMALLER, WHILE FORGIVENESS FORCES YOU TO GROW BEYOND WHAT YOU WERE Textbook: The Holy Bible Instructor: Min. Deborah Gibbs Survey of the New Testament (BE 102): During this 12 week session, we ll take a journey through each book of the New Testament. For each book, we ll look at the book s: purpose; key Bible verses; people; main topics and events; and the author. Also, each student will memorize the exact location of each Book of the New Testament. It ll be an exciting journey into Christian knowledge and growth for both the student and the instructor. (King James Version, New King James Version, or New International Version) and Journey of a Lifetime by Tommy C. Higle Instructor: Sister Alfreda White A Life Well Lived: A Study of the Book of Ecclesiastes (BE 280): Solomon was a great king of Israel. Even though he was the wisest man, he was not immune to attempting to make sense of the world and his existence. Towards the end of his life, Solomon stopped to contemplate on all the competed for his attention. He wrote his conclusions in the Book of Ecclesiastes. This course will provide an in-depth look at Ecclesiastes through the writings of Solomon and through the textbook that will be used for the course. and A Life Well Lived: A Study of the Book of Ecclesiastes by Tommy Nelson Instructor: Rev. LaWanda S. Kamalidiin Foundation of Prayer: (FS 215) This class will teach basic biblical foundations on prayer. The student will learn how to pray more effectively. In this course, there will be discussions on: limiting ourselves in prayer, basic hindrances in prayer and distractions that come against an effective prayer life. Upon completion of this course students will have a new, effective prayer tool with which to use. Instructors: Minister Cassaundra Roberts and Deacon Maurice Marable Textbook: The Bible Promise Book by Barbour Publishing -4-

Ford My Wants, Gods Needs Ages (TN 125): In a world of modern technology, cell phones, texting, , social networking, music, videos and all other vices grabbing for your attention, its easy to forget to put God first. Co-Instructors: Brother William and Sister Chastity Robinson God Up Close: Co-ed Ages (TN 225): Teens will experience twelve unexpected meetings people had with God in the Bible. The student guide presents the stories of Jacob, Abraham, Daniel, Ezekiel, Saul, Peter, Mary, and more, through dramatic retellings of some of their significant face-to-face moments with God. Teens will be challenged to explore the deeper meaning of these encounters and how they relate to their own lives. and God Up Close Participant's Guide: 12 Full-Contact Encounters with God by Stephen Case Instructor: Min. Khalida Burton Saturday Class: Straight Talk for Women: "Thirty Days to Taming Your Tongue"- (ST-215): Do I have control over the things that come from my mouth? Yes, we do. In this session, we will learn how to control those things that we speak that are not uplifting and encouraging as well as learn how to speak life into our lives as well as others. Included in this session will be a thirty day fast. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Deborah Smith Pegues wrote in her book entitled Thirty Days to Taming Your Tongue: that teachers often teach that which they need to learn themselves. I am no different. I am writing this book first and foremost for myself. I desire a wholesome tongue, one that always speaks what is pleasing to God. Course Book: Bible & Thirty Days to Taming Your Tongue by Deborah Smith Pegues Instructors: Rev. Jacquelyn Hill & Minister B.J. Scruggs -5-
