Young Life figured out that unchurched teenagers won t just show up to a church, but they will show up to their friend s house.

Young Life also realized that a better way to meet and invite kids to this party with purpose was to go to where they are and become their friend.

2 Young Life figured out that unchurched teenagers won t just show up to a church, but they will show up to their friend s house. So let s just throw a party at their friends house, and tell them about Jesus there. They call it Club, and it s just a party with a purpose. Young Life also realized that a better way to meet and invite kids to this party with purpose was to go to where they are and become their friend. If you want to meet people with broken hearts, go to a middle school or high school campus. Young Life leaders want to go where students are who are trying to figure out life. We call this Contact Work. Every week Young Life leaders go to local schools, meet students in the lunch room, volunteer at the school, teach, coach, visit school plays, and sit in the student sections of games just to meet students where they are. What if we were waiting for teenagers to be clean enough to come to church, what would happen to all these kids? Everybody has the right to hear about Jesus and make their own choice about him. The big dream, is this: It s a group of people bound together in the single minded purpose, that there is no price too high to pay to see to it that young people know the Savior. 3 WHY YOUNG LIFE? CLUB - Clubs are weekly meetings that are open to all kids. Club is an evening of high energy games, humor and a short message. Young Life is for high school students and WyldLife is for middle school students. 77% of Christians make their decisions for Jesus before their 21st birthday THE 4 C S OF YOUNG LIFE CONTACT WORK - Young Life leaders show kids they care by going where kids are, meeting them as they are, believing in who they can be. We call this contact work, or going the distance. Kids call it friendship. CAMP - Young Life owns and operates 22 premier resorts across the country where over 80,000 kids will spend a weekend during the school year or a week each summer hiking, biking, horseback riding, climbing ropes courses and building lasting relationships with their friends and leaders from home. THE ETERNAL IMPACT OF MEETING GRACE During the summer of 2016, Grace decided she was going to begin the next school year with the hopes of meeting a group of freshman girls to share her life with.

What stemmed from Grace s relentless pursuit of those girls are real, life-changing relationships.

I knew the minute Grace came to our lunch table our freshman year, that she was going to help me and my friends in a lot of ways. She s helped me a lot with things in my life.

6 THE ETERNAL IMPACT OF MEETING GRACE During the summer of 2016, Grace decided she was going to begin the next school year with the hopes of meeting a group of freshman girls to share her life with. A year later, Grace took Angelica, Alyssa, Adrianna, and Ireland to summer camp and they each decided to follow Jesus. What stemmed from Grace s relentless pursuit of those girls are real, life-changing relationships. They have studied the bible together through weekly campaigners and their lives will never be the same. God has used Grace to show her friends what true, authentic life with Jesus can look like! I knew the minute Grace came to our lunch table our freshman year, that she was going to help me and my friends in a lot of ways. She s helped me a lot with things in my life. But she is also the reason why I m really close with Jesus. Angelica Last summer at camp, Grace help me start my relationship with Jesus. And this year has helped me grow in my faith. She is the main reason why I still am following Jesus after a hard year. And I Love her because we always eat ice cream together. Adrianna When I was freshman, I was really shy. But then I met Grace when she came to our lunches randomly. She is always there for me and our friends, and always available to talk when I don t have anyone else to talk to. Grace is the person who taught me about Jesus. I know that Jesus forgives everything and anything and doesn t judge me or us because of the way Grace forgives and doesn t judge. Alyssa Grace has pushed me to do more than I ever thought I could do. Without her I don t know where all of us (our friend group) would be. Like any friend group we have drama but grace is always there to help us through it. She has kept us together like puzzle pieces. She is the reason why I have relationship with him today Ireland

This week my friends went all in with our abundantly loving God. I loved celebrating their decisions to have a relationship with Our Father and being a small part of their walk with Jesus.
