Amen. Trusting God s promise of forgiveness, let us confess our sin against God and one another. Eternal God our creator, in you we live and move and have our being. Look upon us, your children, the work of your hands. Forgive us all our offenses, and cleanse us from proud thoughts and empty desires. By your grace draw us near to you, our refuge and our strength; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. God s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us. In the mercy of almighty God, Christ died for us while we still were sinners; and for his sake, God + forgives you all your sins. Amen.

3 7/29-7/30/17 FISH FRY Thank you to the Deacons for hosting a great fish fry on Thursday night! And thank you to everyone who helped out or contributed to the meal in any way! It was a great evening of food and fellowship. TRINITY S TOP 50!! Thanks to all who voted for your favorite hymns during the month of May! We ended up with exactly 50 of them that s awesome! So, for the rest of this time after Pentecost we will be singing 2-3 of the selections each week. Wonder what our #1 will be?! Wait and see! This week we will be singing #37 in W&P ( Father, I Adore You ) and #379 in ELW #379 ( Now the Green Blade Rises). SUMMER STUDY Pastor Lisa is facilitating a 7 week study called My Neighbor Is Muslim, created by Lutheran Social Services. If you are interested in participating, we meet Wednesdays at noon at the church. Please bring your lunch with you as we join for fellowship and learning about our Muslim neighbors faith tradition. NOISY OFFERING We collected $100 for Lutheran World Relief in June. Our July noisy offering will be going to Shriners Hospitals for Children. They are committed to providing the best care for children in [their] specialty

4 areas of Orthopedics, Burn Care, Spinal Cord Injury, and Cleft Lip and Palate, regardless of a family s ability to pay. ST. DYSMAS We will be worshiping at St. Dysmas on Thursday, 9/21. Please sign up and see Pastor Lisa for information if you are interested in going along. Thanks! WELCA We will be collecting school kits as our new project. They will be going to Lutheran World Relief. Listed are the supplies needed: Spiral notebooks (one subject), 12 rulers, scissors, pencils, Bic pens, 24 Crayola crayons, and erasers.
