About Communion: All Christians are welcomed at the Lord s Table at First Presbyterian Church. Children are also welcomed to participate at the discretion of their parents. It is our custom to eat the bread and drink from the cup as they are received. The server with the ceramic plate will offer gluten free crackers for those who desire them. As the server moves down the center aisle, please raise your hand if you wish to be served. The cups are filled with non-alcoholic grape juice. The audio portion of this evening s service may also be heard in our Chapel. Childcare is provided in the Church Nursery. Special envelopes for our Christmas Joy Offering are available throughout this season for your use. The Board of Pensions receives 50% of the Christmas Joy Offering. Through the Board of Pensions Financial Assistance Programs, the Christmas Joy Offering recognizes the faithfulness of current and retired church workers by providing funds to help them through difficult times. In addition, Presbyterian Racial Ethnic Schools and Colleges receive 50% of the Christmas Joy Offering. The Presbyterian Church has long promoted education through establishing and supporting racial ethnic schools. 6
