Hebrews 11:6 January 1 GERMANY Pray for God s wisdom in accepting the right invitations to hold conferences in Pray for the production of at least two new books in German for 2013 and for increased sales. January 2 NEW ZEALAND Pray for the release of all finances needed this year to meet the demands and requests received for Derek s CDs and books across the Indian subcontinent, S.E. Asia and Pacific Islands. Pray for Director Warren Smith, the Board of Trustees and staff to know God s wisdom, direction, good health and strength to accomplish all He wants them to do in January 3 UNITED KINGDOM Pray for the Trustees and staff to know the Holy Spirit s strategy for increasing the impact of the ministry in the coming year. January 4 SWITZERLAND Pray for wisdom and clear direction for Ruedi and Elisabeth and those who support them to continue to pave the way for distributing more of Derek s material in this region. January 5 MYANMAR Pray for speedy progress in translating the Derek Prince Bible College Curriculum into Burmese. Pray for the right person to voice it onto CD so it can be duplicated and distributed to Bible colleges and pastors across Myanmar. January 6 ALBANIA Pray for Pastor Nick Wakeley who oversees the work in Albania that the Lord would bring people to stand with him and carry the vision for the ministry. Pray for a divine appointment with an excellent, inexpensive translator for needed book projects. January 7 MIDDLE EAST Pray that the work DPM has begun in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Iraq will continue to flourish and that books taken in will have a great impact upon the Christian community. Pray for the growth of home groups in Kuwait using the Laying the Foundation booklets. January 8 NEPAL Pray for God s provision of finances for the year ahead in order to continue to equip pastors and Christian leaders all over Nepal with Derek s books, as well as to hold important training seminars. January 9 PAKISTAN Pray for God s protection for James and his family and the DPM translators, as well as for the books and facilities, because of increasing intolerance against Christians and rising hate crimes. Pray for increased free book distribution and sales in January 10 TURKEY Five book titles in Turkish will be printed in Istanbul. Pray for safe printing and distribution of this material and the Lord s protection over all the workers involved. Page 1

2 January 11 AUSTRALIA Pray for God s wisdom in knowing how to reach young Christians here with Derek s Bible teaching. January 12 CHINA One lady shared how the Foundation Series had a huge impact on her life. She is now helping distribute Derek s materials to churches in her area. Pray that more people who have been blessed by Derek s teaching will desire to distribute it in places where Christian teaching materials are needed. January 13 NETHERLANDS The Husbands and Fathers Internet Course begins this month, with the hope that many hundreds of men will be touched with the truth in God s Word of how to fulfill their role in their families. Pray for God s blessing on the release of the new Dutch title, Called to Conquer and that many followers of Jesus will find their God-given calling. January 14 ISRAEL When the Jacksons returned to Israel recently, the shelves of English books were nearly empty. The Hebrew books are also in greater demand, and some copies need a second printing. Pray that both the English and Hebrew books can be replenished quickly. As the Jewish people face uncertainly and their eyes begin to open, pray for Derek s material to be used more and more to point them to Jesus. January 15 FRANCE The spiritual soil in France is hard, and there are many legalistic churches and teachings. Pray for a softening so they can receive the seed of God s Word and Derek s teaching. Pray for the Church in France to mature and be used by the Lord as He desires. Pray for missionaries and ministers to be refreshed with new vision and hope and that the DPM team in France can be used to work alongside them as a teaching resource and encouragement. January 16 INDONESIA Pray for the Lord s guidance and timing in developing new outreaches to pastors and believers in remote areas where there is a real need for Derek s teachings. Pray that we will receive the necessary funds to provide these pastors with accommodation and travel expenses so they can attend the DPM pastors conferences in January 17 BULGARIA Pray for successful development of the Bulgarian website and the right people to be involved. Pray that it will be an efficient and effective tool to share about the ministry of DPM and information about Bulgarian materials that are available. January 18 CANADA Pray for the board and staff to have clear direction from the Lord for the ministry in Pray that God will open new avenues to spread Derek s teaching throughout Canada. January 19 ZIMBABWE Pray that Tich will make good contacts throughout the country for distributing Derek s teaching materials. January 20 EASTERN EUROPE Brano Cekan, DPM Coordinator for this region, has had a significant increase in his workload recently due to organizational structuring and growing activity in these nations. Pray for wisdom, strength, good health and encouragement for Brano as he takes on new tasks. Also pray for the Lord s protection and blessing upon his wife, Claudia, and their sons. January 21 NIGERIA In spite of unrest in northern Nigeria, DPM continues to make Derek s teaching available to the Hausa people. Pray for growing interest in it and that it would bless and build up the church in this region. Page 2

3 January 22 CHINA A Chinese pastor told the China team he could distribute one million books monthly. This is more than the current yearly printing! Pray for God s provision to meet the growing need for materials. The top political leadership changed in November and will be in place for ten years. Pray that God will have them produce policies that will further the Gospel in China and bless His church. January 23 NORWAY The Lord has opened a door to a secondary school. Pray for this outreach opportunity to be fruitful and for many young people to be reached with Derek s teaching. January 24 UNITED STATES The Lord has brought several contacts into place who may be instrumental in advancing the work of DPM on college campuses. Pray that this focus for ministry will be solidified and go forth in the coming year. January 25 SERBIA The book Does Your Tongue Need Healing? will soon be published and workers Miro and Miroslav will begin distribution. Pray that this message will help bring understanding of the importance of the proper use of the tongue. Pray for new doors to open for Derek Prince materials in Serbia. January 26 PERU U.S. staff member, Mark DeVito, made another trip to Peru in November to further the relationship with contacts there. As things progress, pray for the Lord to make His plans clear for setting up a DPM office there and that the timing would be right for this expansion. January 27 FRANCE Pray for Guillaume as he works on the new website that this tool will be used to achieve better communication with the French Church and give easier access to Derek s teachings. Pray for the excellent translation and distribution of the new book, By Grace Alone. It is still in production in the U.S., scheduled for release this summer. This book is greatly needed in France. January 28 SOUTHERN AFRICA Pray for an increase in prayer and financial supporters to help get Derek s material spread across more nations in Africa in Pray that material sent to various African countries will arrive safely. Pray for good health, provision and protection for all board and staff members in 2013, along with the DPM property, vehicles and equipment. January 29 MIDDLE EAST Pray for the Lord to open up opportunities to introduce DPM s work in countries such as Oman, Qatar and Bahrain, especially to be able to work with other established Christian ministries in these countries. January 30 INDIA Pray for God s protection, good health, favor and wisdom for Directors Elsie and Danny, the Board of Trustees and staff as they reach out with Derek s teaching. January 31 POLAND Pray for wisdom and strength for Directors Marek and Agniezska. They are working to expand DPM s outreach through developing the new website, self-publishing Derek s books, reconnecting with local churches and bookstores, and establishing a distribution network. Pray for the translation of the Study Guide for the book Bought with Blood, available soon through the Internet, to be used by home groups and house churches. Page 3

Matthew 21:21 22 February 1 UGANDA With new Luganda titles now available, pray that Derek s teaching would lay a good foundation of biblical understanding for the people of Uganda. February 2 FRANCE Pray that the shipments of material going to Africa will arrive safely and speedily and will achieve the goal of edifying and equipping African Bible school students. Pray that Derek s material will be sent to the right Bible schools in Africa so that it will be used in the best way possible and bear much fruit. February 3 ETHIOPIA DPM is grateful to be able to reach many Amharic-speaking people all over the world with Derek s teaching. The demand is more than can currently be met. Pray that printing can move ahead on Discovering God s Church and They Shall Expel Demons. February 4 ZIMBABWE Tich will be traveling to South Africa to meet Isabel and her team, along with other ministries. Pray for safe travel and a synergy for the gospel among those seeking to bless the people of Zimbabwe. February 5 GERMANY Pray that German friends of the ministry will catch the vision for sharing Derek's teaching material with the next generation. Pray for wisdom and anointing in the communications that go out and the various media used. February 6 NETHERLANDS Pray for two young professionals who are working on a Proclamation-app, containing over 60 thematic proclamations. Also pray that many people who will download this tool will invite the supernatural power of God's Word into their daily lives. February 7 AUSTRALIA Pray for connections with like-minded ministries for the distribution of Derek Prince s Bible teaching among the indigenous people of Australia. February 8 CHINA A church in northern China that started in 2003 with just three women now has over 300 people attending and has begun to send people to minister long-term to other areas of China and even overseas. Pray that the distribution of Derek s materials might enable more churches to be built up in their faith and reach out to others with the good news of the Gospel. February 9 ARMENIA Pray for the new DPM office in Yerevan. The Lord s guidance and wisdom are needed as plans are made regarding staff and ministry outreach. February 10 ISRAEL The latest title by Derek, Three Messages for Israel, is of greatest interest right now. Requests have come in for as many as 50 copies of this book in English. Pray for the team in Israel to work with Page 4

5 God s anointing and wisdom in these critical days as they have contact with the Jewish community and others who live in and visit Israel. February 11 CROATIA Pray for wisdom and grace for the volunteer workers who are helping to update the website with articles and an attractive interface. Pray for translator Slavica as she works on the book Rediscovering God s Church. Pray for the upcoming revision of the book God s Remedy for Rejection that will update the language from the old Serbo-Croatian to modern Croatian. February 12 INDIA Pray for new contacts in various states throughout India who could distribute Derek s teaching. Pray for God s provision of all finances needed for book reprinting. February 13 PAKISTAN Pray for the completion of quality recordings of the Derek Prince Bible College Curriculum on CD and for a good response from the Bible colleges in Pakistan who will be offered the curriculum. Many Bible schools and colleges are still using books, so pray they will consider incorporating these audio teachings into their curriculum. February 14 BRAZIL Derek s Portuguese materials have been very well received, and it is becoming clear that Brazil plays a key part in the outreach work of the U.S. office. Continue to pray for clear direction from the Lord about how and when to expand DPM s work in this nation and for the right team to come together. February 15 INDONESIA Derek s book Prophetic Guide to the End Times began selling in Christian bookstores in December. Pray that this teaching will inspire the Body of Christ here to take seriously their God-given task of ruling together with Christ through prayer. It is a pivotal time for God s people in this Muslim-majority nation. February 16 RUSSIAN FEDERATION Pray for Paul and his team to walk in wisdom and anointing as they continue to make Derek s teaching material available across this large region. Pray that there will be no delay in the translation, printing and distribution of needed materials. February 17 CUBA Pray for new relationships being formed with Christian leaders in Cuba who desire to link with the DPM team and strengthen the work they are doing in the coming year. Pray for wisdom and encouragement for the workers and the Lord s provision for all the printing projects underway. February 18 MIDDLE EAST Pray for a breakthrough from false doctrines in the Christian community in these nations and that DPM can be instrumental in reaching out with biblical truths. February 19 CHINA All of Derek s Chinese materials are produced undercover in China sometimes overnight when printing machines are not otherwise being used and sometimes in a rented apartment in a regular housing block. Please pray for God s protection over all those involved in this sensitive ministry. February 20 NORWAY Pray for growth of the prison outreach in Norway with increased opportunities to reach the unreached. Page 5

6 February 21 SLOVENIA Pray for wisdom, guidance and effective time management for Coordinator Matej as he proceeds with the work of DPM. Pray for open doors for Matej as he establishes a DPM distribution network. February 22 MYANMAR A DPM conference on the theme Arise and Shine will be held for 120 pastors and their wives from February in Kalaymyo (the gateway town to the Chin State). Pastor Jacob will be teaching from Derek s books Does Your Tongue Need Healing? and How to Pass from Curse to Blessing. Sandar, his wife, will be teaching from The Marriage Covenant. All attendees will be given free copies of these books, along with several other titles. Pray for safe travel for Jacob and Sandar and that all those attending will be greatly impacted by the teaching and free material. February 23 FRANCE Pray for new students to enroll in the Bible Correspondence Course and that current students will persevere to complete the study. Pray that those who received their certificates will continue with the classes available. February 24 CANADA Pray that opportunities will arise within the prison system to distribute Derek s teaching material and for strategic contacts to help make this happen. February 25 EGYPT Pray for wisdom and direction for the Arabic outreach and safety for DPM workers in Egypt. February 26 SOUTHERN AFRICA Pray for more opportunities to broadcast Derek s teaching on radio in Africa in Pray for the translation, proofreading, editing, desktop publishing work and printing of ten of Derek s books that are in various stages of progress. Pray for the continuation of successful networking with other ministries which are helping to distribute Derek s teaching material. February 27 UNITED STATES Pray for the Lord to continue to bring forth the right Christian leaders and ministries to network with in order to effectively distribute Derek s teaching materials in new arenas. February 28 ETHIOPIA Pray for DPM s outreach to the Eritrean and Tigray people groups, specifically to be able to print Blessing or Curse and They Shall Expel Demons in the Tigrinya language. Page 6

7 DEREK PRINCE MINISTRIES Praise and Thanksgiving January/February 2013 I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us. Isaiah 63:7a Bulgaria Iskra Nacheva The book God s Word Heals was printed successfully! It has been very well received and still is in great demand. It has been a great help for spreading and creating more interest in Derek s teaching in Bulgaria. Canada Bob Yeo We thank God for His provision in 2012 and are believing Him for greater outreach and supply in China Ross Paterson A Chinese pastor recently shared with us that he had concerns about books which do not focus on the Bible and are not much use in instruction. However, he believes that all of Derek s books give the correct message about the truth to believers and help them to understand the Bible more fully. We have been encouraged that the use of the Chinese language website is more extensive than we imagined. Some people have downloaded all of the more than 1,000 MP3 files of Derek s radio programs, and then they are copying the files to pass on to others. The audio devices containing the New Testament and Derek s Foundations teaching that we have begun distributing are proving very popular, especially with people who cannot read and with older people who cannot see well. Croatia Damir & Irene Blazic The new book, Lucifer Exposed, was recently published in Croatia. It has a vital message for equipping Christians about the supernatural. This book follows Gifts of the Spirit and Blessing or Curse, which came out earlier this year. France René de Groot Many thousands of books have been ordered by Livr'Afrique to be shipped to French-speaking Africa. We are thankful for the support of other DPM offices to help us provide books for Bible schools in this region. We are grateful for the prayers for France and for the faithful people have continued to give for many years. Indonesia Yoegi Late last year, Board member Peter Rondeel spoke at a leadership meeting of the Assemblies of God in South Sumatra. He distributed the Life-Changing Spiritual Power book to the delegates from remote islands off the eastern coast of the main island of Sumatra. He recently traveled into the hinterland of South Sumatra, to Baturaja, where he again freely distributed this book to local pastors at a conference. Peter also attended a meeting with many pastors in a church in Central Jakarta to prepare churches for difficult times ahead as far as Muslim persecution is concerned. He set up a bookstand where he sold copies of Derek s new book Prophetic Guide to the End Times. Page 7

8 Myanmar Jacob Late last year, we held a seminar on the theme Serving Together for 60 wives of the pastors and deacons in Tamu (NW Myanmar) on the India border. I (Jacob) taught from Derek s books Does Your Tongue Need Healing? and How to Pass from Curse to Blessing, while Sandar, my wife, taught from Derek s book The Marriage Covenant. All those attending received copies of these books, along with Life-Changing Spiritual Power; If You Want God s Best and God s Plan for Your Money. Nepal Gopaljee Adhikari Late last year we held several conferences which were a real blessing to all attending: Four women from our church, The Lord s Assembly, visited a village in Chitawan (seven hours drive from Kathmandu) for a women s conference among the Tharu tribe. Fifty women attended, mostly tribals, and Derek s teaching was used in the meetings. Several people were healed and eight of them received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. A conference was held for 150 pastors and leaders in Dharan (east Nepal) on the fivefold ministries. We distributed Derek s book Life-Changing Spiritual Power. A youth conference was held in Itahari. I (Gopaljee), and 25 youth from our church in Kathmandu attended. We gave attendees copies of Derek s book Life-Changing Spiritual Power. Netherlands Ivar van der Sterre The new proclamation cards for youth are being received well and will equip many young people in the Word of God. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to publish Derek's teaching at no cost in the Dutch version of Charisma magazine. Currently a series is running on Invisible Barriers to Healing. The book God s Word Heals has just been published and is being received really well. Norway Sverre Kristoffersen We praise the Lord for His wonderful outpouring of provision to the Norwegian office. Many new partners and mission friends have started giving! Pakistan James and Elizabeth Our staff member, Mr. Masih, recently set up a book table at a Christian leader s seminar. Suddenly, we received a phone call from him advising that he is in urgent need of 110 copies of Derek s daily devotional, Declaring God s Word. The reason for the sudden request: we had sent a complimentary copy to the Bishop of Hyderabad in January The Bishop was so blessed by it that he spoke very highly of it and Derek s literature in the seminar. Not only that, he himself bought a copy for each for the 110 pastors and leaders from all over the Province! Poland Marek and Agnieska We had a quick and trouble-free registration of DPM Poland as a non-profit organization. The new books Bought with Blood and Protection from Deception were published recently in Poland! Romania Fanel & Monica Serban Fanel and Monica Serban organized and held a conference last November on the theme Gifts of the Spirit. It was a great blessing to many Romanian believers. We thank the Lord also for Alpha and Omega TV, which recorded the conference and will broadcast it in the near future. Slovakia Branislav & Claudia Cekan We thank the Lord for turning the Teaching Letter project into a great blessing for Slovak believers. For two and a half years, several churches and believers received the monthly Teaching Letter, which is a tremendous source of encouragement and inspiration. We have distributed almost 50,000 copies. Southern Africa Isabel Surgeon Praise the Lord for all the radio stations that have been faithfully airing Derek s teaching from Cape Town to Tanzania and for the testimonies we regularly receive from listeners. Esther from Kenya, who lives in SA, visited the office recently and said she started listening to Derek s broadcasts on Page 8

9 Impact Radio and has been very blessed. She was amazed to hear how the ministry has grown out of one man s obedience. She also commented that Derek could have stayed at Cambridge, but because of his obedience, his teaching continues to reach millions of people. I was able to attend the Night to Honor Israel event in Cape Town this year, which 1200 people attended. The Jewish leaders and community who came were very moved by the support of Christians from many different ministries and churches. I met a number of long-standing supporters as well as new contacts who were very interested in Derek s teaching. I attended my family s home church south of Johannesburg, where Pastor Edward Gibbens loves Derek s teaching. He gave an excellent teaching on the importance of husbands speaking out a blessing on their wives and children, and he quoted one of the proclamation cards, saying that Derek Prince believed in declaring the Word. We were able to send out 400 Graduate Gift Packs and Bible College Library Packs over the year. We have had enough funds to purchase a laptop computer, which was necessary for our DVD evenings (where Derek s video teachings are presented) and for office use as well as a spiral-binding machine to be able print and bind our own Self-Study Bible Course books in various African languages. The following is a testimony we received that was written to Derek from someone who did not realize he had passed on: Dear Derek Prince, I would like to thank you for your radio program, Keys to Successful Living, which airs in South Africa every weeknight on Radio Pulpit 657AM. I am a 25-year-old young woman who is currently pursuing a law degree and would also like to be a teacher of the Word of God just like you. I certainly wish I had had someone to teach me about my salvation immediately when I rededicated my life to Christ at age 14. But I thank God for making it possible for me now to hear all of your teachings over the radio. All of your teachings have inspired me in my Christ-like journey, and I am filled with the hope that Jesus will definitely come back to take me home to spend eternity with Him. I thank you for the lesson you taught about how real blessings and curses are. Immediately after saying the prayer (for release from a curse), I saw a vision of a monster resembling a bulldog being removed above my head by a very big hand. Since then I have been able to do things I had stopped doing, like praying first thing in the morning, reading my Bible and listening and obeying God s voice. God is good, His mercy endureth forever! All of your lessons have been such a blessing in my life. Indeed, my life was perishing because I lacked knowledge, but now it is flourishing and triumphant because of all the knowledge God is filling me up with through your service to Him. I can now say I am as brave as a lion and calm, as I learn maturity. May God increase you and carry you through your ministry.
