Psalm 60:12 January 1 INTERNATIONAL Pray for the worldwide directors, staff and outreach workers at each DPM office to walk in God s blessings good health, strength, favor, wisdom, provision, anointing and protection in their lives and ministry responsibilities. January 2 AUSTRALIA Continue to pray for fruitful outreach among the Aboriginals and that they will increasingly be reached with Derek s teaching and have their lives changed. January 3 IRAN Beginning this month, Derek s core teachings (30x13 Project) will be broadcast to Iran. Pray that many people, both Muslims and Christians, will be reached and have their lives changed. Pray for the Iranian Bible school (outside Iran) to impact the students and that they will be protected in their travel and time of study. January 4 RUSSIA Outreach worker, German, will hold seminars in Astrakhan this month, and Derek s books will also be made available. He will also have a Christmas party for 150 children, as Christmas in Russia is celebrated on January 7. Pray that both will be successful and bless many. Pray for a new translator and editor for Russian materials and for the ongoing translation work. January 5 INDONESIA Pray for the Lord s guidance in 2018 for Director Marcel, including how to reach the younger generation with Derek s teaching. Pray for many people to connect to the new website ( Pray for volunteers to help Marcel with the ministry in this large Muslim nation. We received this testimony from a pastor: After receiving copies of Derek s book, Husbands and Fathers, we decided to study the book as a men s group. We also decided to focus on restoring the family during the month of October in the main service. Many of the men have been restored to the position of priest, prophet and king in the family. Once I asked a man: What do you think about the book? He answered: Now I understand! (He is a man of few words!) The book has been a real blessing for the whole church. January 6 GREECE Derek s Farsi and Arabic teaching material has been shipped to a Christian ministry in Athens that reaches out to refugees from the Middle East. Pray for them to also find a safe haven in Christ. January 7 EGYPT The Cairo International Book Fair is the largest and oldest book fair in the Arab world and is held yearly during the last week of January. Pray for God s wisdom about participating whether to send a DPM team and make new connections or to distribute material through others. A trip to Morocco is planned for this month, and prayer is needed for a shipment of materials to Morocco to arrive safely without delay. Page 1

2 A woman in Morocco watched the video of Release from the Curse through the SD card of core teachings. She said: It was the first time in my life I heard about curses and blessings. She contacted our key person in Morocco, and he led her in a deliverance prayer. While our co-workers in the Persian Gulf region were distributing SD cards containing Derek s teachings, they met a Muslim man who wanted to know more about Jesus. They explained the way of salvation, and he accepted Jesus as his Savior. Two days later, he was baptized in water. January 8 KENYA This month, Bibles and Derek s books will be distributed at the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Nyang ori Conference. The Bible school holding the conference is next to the teacher training college where Derek served as principal for five years in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He also taught the Bible school students as well. About 5,000 pastors from around the country are expected at the conference, and it will be exciting to hear about the places where Derek s books will be taken through these pastors when they leave. Derek s Mega Voice players and a set of the Foundations teaching DVDs in Swahili will be sent to pastors and leaders in Kenya. January 9 SOUTH AFRICA Pray for Hope as she continues to teach school teachers, students and church members. Nice certificates were made and given to the graduates. Pray for the TV station that will be airing Derek s teaching without charge on TV and mobile phones (9 million) across 33 nations in Africa. We praise God for unexpected large donations received and for our faithful prayer supporters. Hope Ramaphosa in Venda has 25 graduates whom she has taken through the Self-Study Bible Course and DVD Foundations teaching. In 2018, She will be teaching on Romans and Hebrews, The Fullness of the Cross and evangelism, using the Good News of the Kingdom message. The TV station, Elev8 TV, has requested all of our English programs as well as the Swahili, Portuguese and French DVDs. The station manager listened to Derek s audio cassettes years ago in Zimbabwe and was very impressed with his teaching. He now wants Derek s legacy passed on to the next generation. January 10 SYRIA Last November, SD cards containing Derek s Bible teaching were taken to war victims in Syria, along with food and other needed items. More outreach will take place this year. Pray for God s Word to bring hope to those who have received the materials and also for peace in this country. January 11 SLOVAKIA Pray that new books just printed will inspire and motivate believers to a deeper devotion to Christ. In eastern Slovakia, God is powerfully moving among gypsies. Salvations and deliverances are witnessed daily, and Derek s teaching is being given to new gypsy churches. Pray for a fresh move of God with signs and wonders to bring in the end-time harvest. Pray for spiritual breakthrough and awakening in Slovakia, especially in traditional churches. January 12 PHILIPPINES A very large mall is being built an hour away from the DPM office. Director, John Cochrane, is working with Praise Christian bookshop to have a display of Derek s material and be part of the opening celebration. Pray for favor with the mall owners to enable this to take place. Page 2

3 At a recent pastors meeting, we gave out 90 copies each of The Divine Exchange, How to Pass from Curse to Blessing and the Self-Study Bible Course in the Tagalog language. It was also a great opportunity to promote the ministry and sell a few books. An outreach was held recently where 40 people committed their lives to the Lord, and many were healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Sixty copies of The Divine Exchange in Tagalog were given away. The Jesus is Lord Church in the Philippines held their 29 th anniversary celebration in Manila late last year, with over one million people attending! We gave sets of Derek s books to the leaders and organizers of the event. January 13 CROATIA Pray for the translator, Slavica, and editor, Sanja, as they diligently work on new books. Secrets of a Prayer Warrior will be printed this year. Pray for readers to discover the power of prayer! Pray that more church leaders will embrace Derek s teaching and help to increase its distribution. Derek s teaching is bringing light into the lives of many believers from traditional churches, liberating them from dead traditions and leading them into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Melita, a Roman Catholic believer, called me recently to say she had heard about Derek s teachings. She was complaining about a situation in her family and the evil things happening to them. She wanted to know more about curses, demons and many other things. I introduced her to Derek s teachings on these topics and his prayers for these issues. Marko from Slavonski Brod, also a Roman Catholic believer, heard from a Roman Catholic priest about Derek s teachings. He called me and asked what books I would recommend to him. After he read them, he called back and told me how much they blessed his life. He promised to buy more books to give to his friends. January 14 UNITED KINGDOM Pray for the inmates who are receiving Derek s teaching through the U.K. Inside Outreach program to grow in their Christian walk and be encouraged. Chaplains and former inmates can also order material for free when requested, not only in English, but also Hindi, Gujarati, Farsi and Arabic. Pray for the teaching to impact their lives. Zimbabwe We have the possibility of printing Life-Changing Spiritual Power in Zimbabwe in This would be such an encouragement to the Zimbabwean people. We are trusting that some of the books will also be made available to the Lemba Jewish believers. January 15 CAMBODIA Seven of Derek s books are now published in the Khmer language, including How to Pass from Curse to Blessing and Spiritual Warfare. Pray these books will greatly impact many believers. Derek s radio programs are now airing in the Khmer language and are also available on the DPM Cambodia App. Pray for many to hear them, come to salvation and grow in God s Word. Last Christmas, we visited prisons to share the Gospel and gave Derek s booklet, Do You Realize How Valuable You Are? to 3,000 prisoners. DPM New Zealand Trustee, Alan, his wife Lynda, and friend Olwyn, had a very successful ministry trip to Cambodia last November to teach and minister to hundreds of pastors, ministry leaders and young people, using Derek s teaching. 4 January 16 ALGERIA Pray for God s wisdom to find the right translators and editors for new translation work in Tamazight, spoken by million people, mainly in Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Niger. Pray also for the right voice for preparing the material for Christian radio channels and for the Lord s anointing upon all those involved in this new project. Angola We have more opportunities to get Derek s Portuguese material to Angola through an Angolan pastor who will be going to train leaders and a lecturer who will be going to a Bible school and will take Derek s material for their library. January 17 INDIA Pray for God s protection and anointing upon Directors Elsie and Danny, DPM New Zealand Trustee, Alan, and his wife, Lynda, as they minister for the first time in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands the end of January at three pastors conferences. Pray for God s protection over pastors in India, especially those in the north where there is the greatest persecution. Many have been jailed on false charges of forcibly converting people. We ministered recently to many hundreds of pastors among the persecuted churches in India and Sri Lanka and were received with great joy. The pastors said, Not many ministries want to come here and minister to us. We gave them books, including Life-Changing Spiritual Power, as well as SD cards containing 30 of Derek s most significant teaching in Tamil (SE Sri Lanka) and Hindi (Bihar and Jharkhand, India). We received this testimony from a prisoner in Tamil Nadu named Arul. Through my friends, I received four books written by Derek Prince in Tamil: Spiritual Warfare, How to Pass from Curse to Blessing, The Divine Exchange and The Holy Spirit in You. They were very useful to many of us here. In a place where not everyone can enter and do ministry freely, God has used books to bring salvation and spiritual growth, and Derek Prince s books are among those. Please send me more books. They will be read by many and not be laid to rest. We sent this prisoner a complete set of books available in Tamil and offered more copies of the Self-Study Bible Course if more of the inmates want to study the Bible. At December s annual DPM Orphans Christmas Party, we reached about 800 orphans and poor children with the Gospel. Praise the Lord for the many who committed their lives to Christ. January 18 AZERBAIJAN Many Iranians travelled abroad to celebrate the new year with family and friends, when a special DPM team in Azerbaijan reached out to them. Pray that they will keep and read the material given to them and that the Holy Spirit will deeply touch their lives. We thank God for the safe arrival of books to the Bible Society in Jordan. They have already been distributed to different churches. We also shipped a large number of books to Iraq. On a recent trip to Lebanon, we recorded 1,000 SD cards and followed up on a previous shipment of books that had been distributed there. Testimony from Azerbaijan: I would like to share my joy with you. Several months ago, I downloaded Derek Prince's MP3 sermons and started to listen. My spiritual life is growing, I became closer to the Lord, and new things are revealed. I am learning to walk before God in reverence. I am very grateful to the Lord and all the people who recorded his preaching and made these sermons available. Page 4

5 January 19 TURKEY New projects are taking place in this country, including the launch of a new Turkish website. Pray for everything to go smoothly and the launch to be successful, connecting many new people with Derek s teaching. January 20 ROMANIA Pray for Fanel and Monica as they coordinate projects and that the new Romanian book, They Shall Expel Demons, will bring light to believers in the area of deliverance. Pray for unity among church leaders and a turning from pride and personal ambition and for favor with leaders of different denominations so they would receive Derek s teaching on deliverance. Pray that the Lord will raise up righteous leaders to govern the country in the fear of God. January 21 FRANCE Pray for wisdom for René as he directs the work in France and looks for new opportunities to share Derek s teaching. Pray for more supporters, online donors and workers to help expand the ministry. January 22 BOTSWANA Pray for a smooth final editing of Life-Changing Spiritual Power, which will be printed this year. Pray that church libraries, hospital workers, pastors and other leaders will be encouraged and strengthened by Derek s teaching and apply it in their ministries. Mega Voice players containing Derek s teaching and a set of the Foundations teaching DVDs in Tswana has been sent to Botswana. January 23 UKRAINE Students from the Fire Bible School have received Derek s Ukrainian materials. Pray for them to be strengthened in their faith and equipped to boldly share the Gospel. In the first half of this year, four new books and 42 Teaching Letters in Russian will be printed. Pray for protection in the spiritual realm for those involved in these projects. January 24 ISRAEL Continue to pray for favor, wisdom and protection for George and Betty Jackson and their team in Israel as they produce and share Derek s teaching material in several languages. Pray for hearts to increasingly open to God s love and redemption through Christ. January 25 LATIN AMERICA Pray for new doors to open this year for sharing Derek s teaching throughout Latin America. Pray for connection to the right people in the right places where Bible teaching is most needed. January 26 NORWAY Pray for new ways to encourage people to give more to DPM s worldwide outreaches. Pray for good translators to begin working on material in the Sami language. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fall on the youth group as they go through the Self-Study Bible Course. Pray for more partners to help build the work of DPM in Sweden. The first Teaching Letter in Swedish has just been sent out to 120 contacts. Eight of Derek s books have now been successfully translated and printed in Sweden, as well as 12 Proclamation cards. These have all been produced within two years. Praise the Lord! January 27 CHINA A China team member was recently told inside China that Sunday School is now banned in some areas. A pastor said his church was raided by Security Police who demanded that the seats set up for Sunday School be removed, as no class teaching could take place. Another pastor was told that any group of Page 5

6 more than 10 people (including Sunday services) would result in a fine of over US $1,000 per person. China has gone back 30 years, and the China we see on the outside is not the China taking place for Christians inside China. Pray for the believers in China who are facing these severe restrictions. One of our team was approached spontaneously in China by a pastor at a meeting where he was speaking. The pastor said how thrilled he was that the team member had mentioned the name of Ye Guang Ming (Derek Prince in Chinese) as the people in his church had been fed on his teaching over the years. We praise the Lord for times when we see what Derek s teaching has done for believers in China. January 28 TANZANIA This vast country is in need of a distributor for DPM. A warehouse in Arusha has been obtained, but someone is needed who will be able to travel to different places with Derek s material. Pray for the Lord to bring forth the right person. There has been continued distribution of Swahili books to Arusha. January 29 SLOVENIA Several new books will be printed this year. Pray for wisdom for those working on these projects, especially for Aleksandra as she is now translating Called to Conquer and You Matter to God. Pray for connections to more churches who will want to use Derek s material and distribute it. The number of believers in Slovenia is very small, but the spiritual climate is changing. Pray for Derek s teaching to free those who are held by religious traditions and that salvation and deliverance will come to many. January 30 SRI LANKA Pray for God s protection, good health and stamina for DPM India Directors, Elsie and Danny, and DPM- New Zealand Trustee, Alan Brooks and his wife, Lynda, as they minister among the persecuted church in Sri Lanka during the first week of February. While we (Elsie and Danny, DPM India Directors) were ministering in Sri Lanka last September, we heard many reports of people being blessed by the TV program we had just produced using Derek s teaching in Tamil. After watching, many people called Sam and Olivia (DPM Sri Lanka Coordinators) requesting prayer. The India office also prayed for these needs. As a result, there were many testimonies of healings and blessings! January 31 SWITZERLAND Pray for Ruedi, DPM Director, and his team to have new doors of opportunity open to them this year to distribute Derek s teaching material, including to the French-speaking region. Pray for the right contacts and increased financial support so the ministry will expand. Page 6

Isaiah 55:6 February 1 BULGARIA Pray for spiritual protection and wisdom for Iskra, the director, and the translators and editors as they plan to print several new books this year that are very much needed. Pray for new doors to open for distributing Derek s teaching and that it will have a significant impact on the Body of Christ in Bulgaria that needs an increased hunger for God s Word. February 2 RWANDA The Self-Study Bible Course has been laid out and is ready for printing. Pray for the right printers to be found who will do an excellent job and that these books will make an impact on all those who use them. Lesotho A set of the Foundations teaching DVDs in South Sotho and the Mega Voice players will be going to Youth with a Mission for their use in ministry. Malawi The distribution of the Mega Voice players and the Chichewa DVD Foundations teaching and Self-Study Bible Course has gone well. February 3 PERSIAN GULF Pray for the nation of Yemen and for the Lord to open doors to share His Word there where so many needs and problems exist. Pray for safety for the team that will travel to Iraq this month and that the trip will be very fruitful. A big outreach campaign for Arabs is planned for June during the football World Cup in Russia. Pray for God s help in all the preparations, for unity among all involved and for needed finances. February 4 VIETNAM Please pray for protection over the two translation teams in Vietnam and that the Vietnamese material being produced would be a great blessing to many. We praise God for the very successful leadership training conference held late last year for 90 key leaders. Everyone was very pleased to receive copies of Derek s books and Proclamation Cards in their own language for the very first time! February 5 ALBANIA Pray for the new website to be successfully completed and become a channel for DPM to reach many thousands of people both inside and outside the country. Pray for righteous government, a spiritual awakening in the nation and unity in the Body of Christ. DPM has favor with various denominations to spread Derek s material, so pray that continues. Pray for Albanian believers to be equipped by Derek s teaching to be able to reach out to Muslims and others. February 6 CANADA Pray for the Lord s wisdom for DPM Director, Bob Yeo, and his board in 2018 and for new and fruitful connections to come forth to help expand the work of DPM in this large nation. 8 February 7 IRAQ Praying for the Government and Extravagant Love are being translated into Sorani. Pray for wisdom for the translators and graphic designers and for these books to serve God s purposes in Iraq. Pray for the Lord to give His wisdom and guidance for outreach in February 8 HUNGARY Pray for protection and wisdom for directors Zsolt and Erika and their team, including translators, proofreaders and graphic designers, as they work on several new books. The Hungarian people are overwhelmed with disappointment and pessimism due to the nation s political and economic situation, Pray that Derek s teaching will make a difference in their lives. This year, new government officials will be elected. Pray that God will raise up godly leaders. We are thankful to the Lord for the Husbands and Fathers Conference which took place a few months ago. More men attended than what we had expected. We were able to give all participants our newly released book, Husbands and Fathers. It planted good seed into fertile soil a good investment. February 9 CAMBODIA Director Huy and his team will hold training sessions with Derek s material and also distribute it to pastors in Siem Reap Province, a new area for them. Pray for God s protection and anointing and for many to be impacted by the teaching. February 10 SOUTH SUDAN Pray for the safe distribution of Derek s English and Arabic books and SD cards in South Sudan. Pray for favor and anointing for Matthew, who is using the Foundation Series to teach students at university and for Pastor Aboud, who is distributing Derek s materials. Madagascar Dries has been traveling along the coast in the catamaran to villages he first visited 22 years ago to find a Christian School and church there now! He also met a man he had led to the Lord, a real joy for him. February 11 BURUNDI Translation of Shaping History through Prayer and Fasting into Kirundi is now taking place. There are few nations that need the touch of God more than Burundi, so pray that this book will enable Christians to rise up and make a difference in their country through intercession. Namibia A radio station will begin airing Derek s programs at Swakopmund. February 12 RUSSIA In December, outreach worker German held seminars in the Faith of God Church in Sevastopol in Crimea. They prayed for deliverance for those attending and gave them Derek s books. Pray for the Lord to continue His work in their lives. February 13 SAUDI ARABIA Derek s teaching is used to teach Muslim background believers from Saudi Arabia. Pray for God s protection over them as their lives are in constant danger because of their faith. Pray that Derek s teaching will greatly encourage and strengthen these believers. February 14 POLAND Polish directors, Agnieszka and Marek, are working on new projects, including the new website. Pray for wisdom and strength for them and their team to be able to complete them on time. Pray for the new website to be an effective tool to share Derek s teaching to Poles living in and outside the country. Page 8

9 Polish youth are disappointed by traditional religion and are searching for purpose in life. Pray for them to have a personal revelation of Jesus and come to a true faith in God, also that the team in Poland will have divine guidance in reaching a new generation of believers with Derek s teaching. February 15 MYANMAR DPM supplied 200 Burmese books to a partner ministry for their recent conference. Pray that this material will help build a strong foundation in the lives of the pastors and leaders who received it and that they will teach many others from what they learn. February 16 JAPAN The DPM dual-language Japanese/English website was advertised on several thousand Proclamation Cards and flyers as well as through ads in a Christian magazine. Pray that this would prompt many people to visit the website ( and be blessed by all the free Derek Prince teaching available there. February 17 CHINA The books, Praying for the Government and Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting, are scheduled for printing this year. Given the difficult situation for Christians in China, these books will be very timely. Pray that believers will turn again to prayer as they did 30 to 40 years ago in China and, once again, see the Lord move in power. Work continues on the websites and WeChat platform that will carry Derek s teaching. Pray for many to find these resources and grow in God s Word. One of the sites contains the 30 core teachings by Derek in Chinese that are needed to feed many spiritually. February 18 GHANA Pray for the Lord s guidance and wisdom regarding the best way to make Derek s books available in Ghana and direct DPM to the right person to partner with in distribution. Zambia The pastors who received the Mega Voice solar players are so impressed with Derek s teaching they requested to translate it into a number of other Zambian languages. February 19 NEW ZEALAND Pray for an increased awareness of DPM and for many more visits to the new website ( Facebook page ( and DPM App. Pray that many people would avail themselves of the huge number of free resources available through the website. TESTIMONY: We receive this testimony from a regional prison chaplain: I have been an enthusiastic supporter and follower of Derek Prince for at least 10 years and have arranged previously with your office for resources to be sent to prison chaplains. These resources have been gladly received and positively used. We are essentially in the hope and encouragement business, and Derek s books often fall within those categories. There are a wide range of titles by Derek Prince that are suited to this environment. Of particular value are those linked to Bible study courses, grief, life questions, prayer, faith, hope, and encouragement. We have actively used DPM resources as a basis for Bible studies and found them to be most useful. In prison ministry, It is often difficult to say one specific thing made a difference in prisoners transforming their own lives. However, DPM resources certainly contribute hugely to the transformative effect of beginning a faith journey. Page 9

10 February 20 NEPAL Last October, an anti-conversion bill was passed by the Nepali Parliament making preaching, evangelizing and baptizing people a criminal offense. Pray that this law would be revoked. Pray for God s protection over Director Gopaljee, his wife Ganga, and Christians in Nepal and that the Church in Nepal would continue to grow. Derek s book, Spiritual Warfare for the End Times, has been published for the first time in Nepali. Pray that it will be a valuable tool in the hands of many pastors, Christian leaders and believers. We supplied 17 large boxes of Derek s Nepali books to SE Nepal for distribution to many pastors from a number of churches in the area. February 21 CZECH REPUBLIC DPM Director, Daniel, and his congregation plan to begin a new church in Brno, the second largest city in the nation. Pray for the team s unity and growing passion for Jesus and to see people saved. Pray for wisdom and creativity in updating the DPM website. As new books are released, pray for God s Word to be rooted in the hearts of Czech believers. More youth are coming to Christ and being baptized. Two young people suffering with damaged nerves are recovering. One had a blood blockage to the brain for more than 20 minutes and was in a vegetative state at first. Doctors said only a miracle would help. Now, six months later, he walks, speaks and is able to type some on his phone! We are thankful for 700 visitors to our musical (The Way Back, a modern parable of the prodigal son). There was a big positive response from first-time visitors. February 22 UNITED STATES Pray for prisoners who receive Derek s books to continue to be impacted by it. The amount of material given away each month is increasing, and testimonies and expressions of thanks from inmates and chaplains are very encouraging. February 23 UKRAINE Pray for those who read Derek s books, especially war refugees and those addicted to drugs and alcohol who are in Christian rehabilitation centers. Recently, more than 80 copies of Shaping History through Prayer and Fasting were sent to a deputy's assistant in the National Parliament who has access to those near the president. Pray for God s favor upon him when he distributes these books. February 24 GERMANY Pray for the DPM staff to have an increased sensitivity to the Lord s guidance regarding reaching the German-speaking world with Derek's Bible teaching and for His special provision for all He intends for the team to do. Pray for the German-speaking people to have open hearts to receive Derek s teaching and to grow deeper in the Word of God. Pray that the Lord will raise up many new disciples of Christ through Derek's teaching. February 25 SERBIA Serbia is experiencing a challenging economic season that has impacted people greatly. Pray that Derek s teaching will stir up hope and faith in the hearts of Serbian believers. Pray for the translator as she works on the new book, Why Bad Things Happen to God s People, and that the new book, Appointment in Jerusalem, will be a powerful evangelistic tool. Pray for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit of God into churches across Serbia and that Derek s books will help equip church leaders and make them effective in making disciples. Page 10

11 February 26 PHILIPPINES Pray for increased book sales. One of the biggest challenges is for retail outlets to keep prices down as they are very much profit-driven. Late last year, 100 copies of The Divine Exchange were sent to the mainly Muslim south and were very well received. Pray for many opportunities to share with those in spiritual darkness. February 27 NETHERLANDS The Rules of Engagement book will be used in in the Dutch Daily Devotions online. Although there is some overlap with other books, this material on preparing for spiritual warfare is vital for the Church in the Netherlands which has not given much attention to this topic. May the Church here unite, be equipped and take up the spiritual weapons the Lord has made available!
