Dear Friend of Children: The Christmas season truly is my favorite time of the year.

My seven year old son Ryan (pictured here), and I are blessed by this opportunity to share in some very special moments with the children served by this ministry.

Recently, Ryan s Sunday School teacher told me that in a Sunday School class lesson they were talking about gifts that were brought to Jesus and the children named Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.

When she asked him why, Ryan remarked that Jesus would love the black and gold of a New Orleans Saints jersey. The innocence of a child is at the heart of the Christmas season.

With no snow on the ground in Florida, there is nothing better than being surrounded by children to get in the spirit, and we are thankful that we have plenty of them on campus. My seven year old son Ryan (pictured here), and I are blessed by this opportunity to share in some very special moments with the children served by this ministry. In some cases, these special moments carry over to our personal family time. This includes individual and group activities, a special outfit and a gift card so each child in our care can have an outing to a local store or mall to purchase exactly what they would like. During this season of hope, as we take time to welcome the Christ Child, the staff of the Children s Home rejoice and give thanks to you who have given so generously this year to support the children that call this wonderful place home.
