Please contact the Rectory Office to register, or you may register online at SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM First and Third Sundays of each month. Arrangements must be made by contacting the Rectory. Godparent is required to be a practicing, Mass attending Catholic. Parents must be registered parishioners and must meet with priest for instructions. SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY Arrangements should be made at least 12 months prior to wedding date. Couples must attend designated Marriage Preparation Conferences. Couples must meet with the parish priest before a wedding date can be scheduled. First step: pickup and read the Marriage Package. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION We have well developed courses for our children. Families are required to participate at Mass weekly. Please contact our Religious Education Office for information.

THE IRS SAYS Donors are advised NOT to file their federal income tax return before they receive their contribution summary from the Church. Donors may not be able to deduct individual contributions of $250 or more if they file a tax return before receiving a contribution summary from their Church. So, obtain your contribution summary and then file. Any questions, call KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS The Knights of Columbus is the world s largest Catholic, fraternal, service organization referred to as the right arm of the Church by many popes. Its primary work is charity at local levels. It was founded in 1882 at St. Mary s Church in New Haven. Ct. by Fr. Michael McGivney. He envisioned parish-based councils (local groups) doing the work at the grass roots in the communities. There will be a membership drive here during the weekends of January 21st & 22nd, and January 28th and 29th. There will be an open house on January 28th and January 29th after each Mass. A new Knights of Columbus council will be a great addition to our parish. What they do, how it will benefit us and any other questions you may have will all be addressed during those weekends. You will also have an opportunity to sign up, of course. In the meantime, if you should have any questions or want to sign up early, please contact Bill Venturini at or contact him via at: billventurini1@gmail.com. PHONE EVANGELIZATION MASS Over the summer, we began a Phone Evangelization Committee here at Holy Family. Its purpose was to reach out to our registered parishioners who have not been attending Mass for some time, to see if there was anything we, as a parish family, could do for them. The program was a success and some of our brothers and sisters have come back. On February 5, 2017 at 7:45am, our intention for the Mass will be for all those who have been reached by this committee, and for their intentions. We would like to thank those who helped to make the phone calls and helped to make this endeavor a success.

WADE Roe v. Wade is the historic Supreme Court decision overturning a Texas interpretation of abortion law and making abortion legal. The Roe v. Wade decision held that a woman, with her doctor, could choose abortion in earlier months of pregnancy without legal restrictions, and with restrictions in later months, based on the right to privacy. This decision was passed on January 22, We pray for the reversal of this decision for the sake of the unborn.
