1 HOLY WEEK SERVICES FOR KINGSTON AND GLEN EIRA Combined Churches of Parkdale The combined churches of Parkdale are having their Dawn Service at 6:30am on Easter Sunday morning, 8 April The location is the beachfront at the bottom of Parkers Road. Speaker will be Marilyn Hinton from Moridalloc Baptist. (Steve Jackson) Combined Churches of Bentleigh The combined churches of Bentleigh and East Bentleigh are having a ceremony called the "Way of the Cross according to Mark" on Good Friday. This has become a regular Christian event in East Bentleigh. Location will be Virginia Park in East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East. The start is at 11.30am at the Curtin St (easterly) end of Virginia Park. There will be scripture readings and reflections. All are welcome and participants are also welcome afterwards at St Peter s Roman Catholic Church on Centre Road for refreshments. The current list of churches involved is: St John s Anglican Church Bentleigh Bentleigh Baptist Church St Peter s Catholic Church Uniting Church - Coatesville St Christopher s Anglican Church East Bentleigh Uniting Church - Bentleigh St Paul s Roman Catholic Church This event is a special Easter Christian spiritual experience. Cheltenham Combined Churches March On Good Friday combined churches of Cheltenham are conducting a march to mark this important time of the year. About 200 are expected to participate. The march commences at am at Open Door Christian Church (the Cheltenham Hall Cnr Nepean Hwy and Charman Rd Cheltenham). It then moves around the five other churches in the Cheltenham vicinity (Cheltenham Uniting, Pioneer Presbyterian, St Matthews Anglican) and finishes at Our Lady of The Assumption for the Stations of The Cross ceremony. Bayside Church Bayside Church s Good Friday services will be held on 6 April at 10.30am, at both Frankston and Cheltenham campuses. They will also then have their regular services on Sat 7 April; 6pm at Cheltenham and Sunday 8 April; 9:30am at Cheltenham and 10:30am at Frankston.
