OLOL 2018 GIVING TREE PROJECT A heartfelt Thank You to all who contributed gift donations and gift cards this year and thoughtfulness is truly a blessing to many in need. As a result of your kindness, we were able to fulfill wish lists through Catholic Charities and four families along with the Christmas wishes of 65 preschool children with toys/games and clothing items, putting smiles on many faces this holiday season, in addition, gift cards will be donated to the Office of Parish Social Ministry for distribution. Your generous donations filled a total of 37 large bags/boxes including many extra stuffing stuffers clothing, toys and miscellaneous items along with over $1700 worth of gift cards. This program consists of a weekend experience for married couples (no group discussions) with six follow-up sessions. 5 OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHRISTMAS BAZAAR Thank you to everyone! The OLOL 2018 Christmas Bazaar was a wonderful day for our parish. Our Parish Center seemed like a Christmas Wonderland. It was a very festive day, with many attendees. Everyone seemed to have a terrific time shopping, playing raffles, seeing Santa, and enjoying one another! Thank you to the OLOL Bazaar committee the wonderful group of people who planned our event for the past 5 months. What a great team! Thanks to you all. Thank you to all the businesses that contributed certificates and gift baskets to the OLOL Shoppes booth. Please see the list of 28 businesses that contributed. Please stop in to their stores and let them know that you appreciate their support of the OLOL Bazaar. Thank you to our Altar Rosary Society and the Knights of Columbus. Without your assistance, we would not have had our wonderful bakery and delicious breakfast and lunch and, of course, Breakfast with Santa. Thank you to the Knights, Falcons, and Religious Education volunteers for setting up and breaking down. Lots of heavy lifting! And thank you to all our Parish elves who stocked our booths on Friday. Thank you to our parishioners and friends for donating such beautiful treasures, baking, and manning our OLOL booths! Finally, thank you for sharing the day and making the OLOL Christmas Bazaar such a success. The OLOL Christmas Bazaar profit was $9,014.
