SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM Instruction class for parents is held on the last Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Baptisms are administered the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at 12:30 p.m. Please call the Parish Office to register and for more information. It is a time to remember the saving events of our faith. I will be traveling to the Cathedral on Tuesday for the Chrism Mass. Representatives from our parish will be there to receive the blessed oils that we will use throughout the year. On Wednesday we will have our Day of Grace. Confessions will be heard on the hour all day until 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, the Holy Oils will be received at the Mass of the Lord s Supper (Holy Thursday evening) here in our parish. Eucharistic Adoration will follow this Mass until midnight. On Good Friday, we have Good Friday Services at noon followed by the Maumee Churches United Way of the Cross. Friday evening, we will have Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. This all leads up to our Easter Vigil celebration on Saturday evening. I am excited to welcome the new members to our faith. The vigil celebration is the most elaborate and beautiful liturgical celebration that we have. It begins at 8:00 p.m. as darkness sets in. Easter Day Masses will be at 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. with celebrations in the Church and Community Center simultaneously. God Bless and Have a Holy Week! Fr. Camp Joy is the crux and beginning of our Religious Education program for our public school students of St. Joseph Parish. It runs two weeks in June, the weeks of June 11 and 18, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Holy Spirit is always urging us and presenting us with people and opportunities. LUKE'S HOSPITAL For more than 45 years, St. Joseph parishioners have brought the Holy Eucharist to Catholic patients at St. Luke's Hospital. Please consider helping them continue this weekly mission. It involves about 30 minutes of your time on a Tuesday or Saturday morning, only two months each year.
