God, whose Son went among the crowds and brought healing with his touch: help us to show his love, in your Church as we gather together, and by our lives as they are transformed into the image of Christ our Lord. MEMORIAL SERVICE There will be a Memorial Service THIS EVENING Sunday 17 February at, when we have an opportunity to remember not only those who have died in recent times, but our own loved ones now at rest. Do please come along and join us. VIVA MUSICA IN CONCERT On Saturday 2 March in the evening, Viva Musica will be in concert in church. Tickets are available see Sheila Hill and cost 7.50, and this will include a glass of wine and some nibbles. The proceeds will benefit church funds. QUIZ NIGHT There will be a quiz night and fish & chip supper on Saturday 30 March from 7pm. Please mark this date in your diary. SPRING FAYRE We will be holding a spring fayre on Saturday 18 May. Please make a note. Think of some suitable stalls we can have! CHURCH CARE DAYS Once a quarter we will be holding a church care day, which is the chance to help clean the building, making it fit for worship and hospitable to visitors, and to make repairs to the linen, frontals and kneelers as required. No previous experience required as any necessary training will be given. SERVICE CREW If you are willing to be part of a team of folk willing to do the occasional bits of small and manageable maintenance required around the church, please make yourself known to Fr Alan or a churchwarden. FLOWERS The flower arrangers do a wonderful thing every week, but the funds are getting low. Would you please consider signing up and offer a donation to Sheila Hill. The list is on the notice board. Thank you. It can be to celebrate a wonderful event, or in memory of a loved one. Please note that Lent and Advent are generally flower free seasons.
