St. Katharine Drexel Book Group In the spirit of the pilgrimage some of our parishioners and Fr. Cole are soon taking 'in the steps of St. Paul', we invite you to join the St. Katharine Drexel Book Group on Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 1-3 PM in the parish hall as we will be viewing the movie, "Paul: Apostle of Christ" which was in movie theatres last year. In anticipation, read any of St. Paul's letters, check out his biography, or other information you may have about this amazing Apostle so we can understand the film's depiction of his last days in prison when St. Luke visits. 6 Friendly Visitors Group says Thank you! LADIES OF ST. KATHARINE DREXEL The Friendly Visitors ministry thanks all the folks, some 95 in number, for attending their "simple ham 'n bean supper" on Saturday, Sept. 22. Hearing statements like, "This is what 'community' feels like" and "I had a wonderful time---the food was delicious" gave us a sense our 'mission' was accomplished! We are so glad you came, brought a friend, or met new ones. As a result, we hope to offer another gathering at some point. Blessings to all who helped prepare, serve, and clean-up as well. Sharon, Coleen and Paula The Ladies of St. Katharine Drexel have a special outing this week -- thank you Kim Moore for hosting us at Moore Farm in Alton on Wednesday October 10 th!
