There was quite a detailed discussions on our various pending issues, especially our Writ Petition No. 1875/2013 in Delhi High Court. NEWS FROM UNITS... LUDHIANA UNIT Pensioner's Meet and Zonal Committee Meeting at Ludhiana on Although the detailed report was published in our April issue, some wrong information was conveyed through an oversight for which I apologize from Ludhiana unit and the management of Zonal Office, Ludhiana. As per previous report the number of participants was advised as 100. Actually in my mind the number advised was of Jalandhar meeting which was conducted a month earlier. As matter of fact, the attendance was more than 250. As earlier reported, I once again thank our Zonal Committee headed by Sh. V.K. Kalia and JALANDHAR UNIT As usual, our Jalandhar Unit is doing very good job of Innovative Banking area, which relates to our fellow Pensioners'. On , they organised "Yog Vigyan Sansthan" under the "Makein-fit" mission headed by Dr. Vikas. Dr. Vikas gave a lecture and shared some tips also with the Pensioners as to how to remain fit after the retirement. He shared with the members that if we are upset mentally, its impact would definitely be on our body and when we feel upset physically then its impact would be on our mind. Dr. Vikas also advised that in order to get rid off physical and mental stress, one must be fit oneself. He advised different techniques of 'Yoga' and 'Meditation' under the said course. According to him 'Yoga' and "Meditation' can be done in any age of life. A vote of thanks to Dr. Vikas alongwith his team was passed by our Vice President of the module Sh. Y.P. Suri. CIRCULAR NO 1/ DATED TO ALL AFFILIATES GOVERNING BODY MEETING AT PATNA ON 30TH MARCH 2016 & ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AT PATNA ON 31ST MARCH 2016 We have to advise that the minutes of the Governing Body Meeting and Annual General Meeting of the Federation held at Patna on 30th and 31st March, 2016 are being prepared and would be circulated soon. All Affiliates are requested to please send their views and suggestions about the changes/amendments to the Memorandum of Association & Rules and Regulations of the Federation as early as possible and within 3 months from now.
