It was a beau ful ceremony honoring the Knights for their dona on toward the sign and our generous volunteers who put in countless hours keeping our landscape looking beau ful. Once again we thank Mark Huller, Pat Jurgensmeyer, Bill Matzker, Dave Richie and John Harter for their endless generosity to our parish. Below is the beau ful prayer and blessing wri en by Sister Carolyn McWa ers for our new sign: Almighty and Crea ve God, You have made this world in all its beauty, and given us the ability to see Your glory manifest in all of it. Through careful stewardship we reverence our Earth, and with Your grace treat all with dignity and honor. We thank you for the stone from which this sign has been fashioned, and the stoneworkers who quarried it. We thank You for the cra speople who formed it and chiseled in it our parish name. We thank You for the men of our parish who installed it, did the landscaping and will con nue to maintain it. Loving God, bestow Your blessing upon it and all members of St. Clare of Assisi Parish. Help us to see Your presence in all that You have created. We pray that this sign may give to passersby an invita on and witness; to those of us who are members here, a sense of belonging and pride; and to all, a reminder that You are the Rock and center of our lives. And through the power of Your Spirit may each of our lives proclaim Your mercy and jus ce. This we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
