Is it public speaking? Is it losing your job? Is it losing a friend? Is it poor health? Getting older? n un-reconciled relationship? Loneliness? Being called names? here are all kinds of things to fear. Is fear good? Most would say no. However, most of us fear many things, but are they things we should fear? Currently we live in a time where there is little fear of our actions. If you don t believe me, turn on your V and watch. hink about what has changed recently on what is acceptable and what is not. Many justify these actions in various ways. God is a loving God. What is forgotten, however, is that God will judge all of us at the end. Instead of fearing and being distracted by worldly matters, we should put our focus on God and fear Him. Proverbs 1:7 he fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Could our problems today be traced to this? We can do many things to have better relationship with God. Praying, worshiping, reading the Bible at home or going to Bible study. Doing this will hopefully get us a better relationship with God and get us to fear the one we should all fear. Jeff ielsen
