P: Rejoice in the Lord, Always. Again, I say rejoice! L: As Jesus came for all people and to unite all of us with God and each other, we rejoice! P: Rejoice in the Lord, Always. Again, I say rejoice! ALL: Rejoice in the Lord, Always. Again, I say rejoice! Amen! LIGHTING OF THE THIRD ADVENT CANDLE Hank Tokarz & Sharon Kozak HYMN Go, Tell it on the Mountain No. 258 (Verses 1-3) PRAYER OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY (In Unison) Gracious Lord, we thank you for all of the good things you provide in food and shelter and the community in which we live. Even as we thank you, we know that these things, which make us happy, are ultimately temporary. It is, however, your presence within us that brings joy which transcends our external circumstance. For this, dear Lord, we give you praise. 4

L: Let us now pray together the prayer that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught us: P: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
