It is my privilege that you have entrusted to me the role of Faithful Navigator for the coming year. I will make every attempt to live up to the example of 1 past Faithful Navigators of J.J. Murphy 2020 and to fulfil the confidence you have placed in me. On July 27 at a ceremony in St. Mary s church our newly elected officers were officially installed by orth Master James Smith, 2nd District, Ontario. e now have a second new assembly formed, this one in Collingwood, St. Francis Assembly 3495, I have extended congratulations and best wishes to Faithful Navigator Lorne inkler on behalf of JJ Murphy Assembly e have 22 members that transferred to St. Francis Assembly, leaving the current membership of our Assembly at 123 Sir Knights. hen called upon, our three assemblies will participate as a united Honour/Colour Guard to demonstrate

2 UNITY and FRATERNITY. There will be an opportunity at a future assembly meeting to have a formal congratulations and good-bye and to say thank you to these departing Sir Knights for their contributions while they were a part of our assembly. P lease note that the date for our August meeting has been changed it will now be August 17th, the 3rd Sunday. S ir Knights; we have need of special skills & talents to help J.J. Murphy Assembly to succeed with all our endeavours. e urgently need a eb Editor to work with our eb Master, Barry Clermont, Council 1626, to improve and sustain our website, jjmurphyassembly.com. e are also in need of a Brother Knight to fill the role of Historian, recently vacated by Sir Knight Aurele Lemire. 3 eb Editor anted It is with great regrets that I can no longer find the necessary time to update our web site and do the newsletter, as it was a choice between the newsletter or web site. I have taken the role of Grand Knight for my council. The web site can be more static with exception of events that would need the updates. I would very much help a new web editor to get familiar with the different pages. The learning curve was in the setup and now much less time consuming. I will setup a temporary password with instructions, and further instructions on needed basis. I will continue to update the site with the newsletter monthly.
