1 Last Name Name Death Day Death Year Birth Date Fincastle Presbyterian Church grave inscriptions (NOTE:Some inscriptions are faded or unreadable) It is a hallowed, a scared spot, dear to the hearts of many, both old and young, who have here laid to rest their beloved dead. Many tears of sorrow have fallen upon this bit of land; sobs of grief have borne the testimony that hearts were broken and cherished hopes were blighted. But they have turned to the house of God hard by, and been comforted as they worshippped God in their hours of need, and drank in the words of Scripture, which tell of Christ, our Saviour, "who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."
