1 Mason Family Records Bob Elder James Elder and Polly Mason, daughter of John, married in 1789 in Campbell County, Virginia (see first record below). I ve assembled the following records in an attempt to identify the ancestors of Polly Mason. One problem is that several John Masons lived in the Campbell-Charlotte area in this time period. Dec 1812-Apr 1813: This regiment, along with Colonel William Hall's First Regiment of Tennessee Volunteer Infantry and Colonel John Coffee's Volunteer Cavalry, comprised the army under Andrew Jackson that undertook the expedition to Natchez in late [ 17.
