Prayer Requests Wed March 21st, visitor Offering - $1, Budget - 1,267 Louis Aebi, Charles brother, is still undergoing extensive rehab. Shirley Cooper: Naomi s brother has malignant cancer on his esophagus. Gerald Rose surgery was successful A new flap has been rebuilt on his nose. Connie McKain, a member from Belpre, wife and mother, is going through severe cancer treatments. Della Mae Pyatt twisted her ankle. During X-rays they found a spur on her heel. More information will be updated on a later date. She also passed her mammogram. Mark Brookover, Connie Ruble s cousin passed away last Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack. Faye Cook, Wirt Cook s wife is having chemo treatments for pancreatic cancer. Naomi s son Mark has landed safely in El-Salvador for his mission trip. Please pray for his safety and success.

4 Caleb, A Different Spirit Number But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it. If there ever was a character that displayed a right attitude or different spirit toward God and His Word, it would have to be Caleb. By reading the book of Numbers in chapter fourteen, we see this courageous man at work. His courage was first seen after returning with the twelve spies from the Promised Land. He was willing to take a stand while others wanted to oppose Gods will. They said there were to many giants to take the land, but Caleb knew with God on their side they could gain this territory. Caleb was trying to motivate others to go up and take the reward that God had already promised them. In turn, the people decided that they would try and kill him. How crazy is that? These people would have rather killed Caleb than listen to what he had to say. Like Caleb, we as faithful Christians must be prepared to face adversity and face it courageously when we stand for the word of God. There may be giants in our way, there may be those who oppose us with every fiber of their being, there may be those who try to harm us, but we must still do what God desires. Do we possess the courage of Caleb? Will we stand with God even if it means standing alone? Do we have a different spirit? I sincerely pray that we do. 5 Men s Treat Banquet On Saturday, April 21st at 6:30pm the church will be hosting a Men s Treat Banquet. It will be held in the Warren High School Cafeteria. The men will be cooking and serving the women and any guests. Choices will be ham and turkey. We would like for this to be an outreach program and each family is encouraged to invite friends or neighbors who are not a member of our congregation. Please let Chuck Pierson know as soon as possible if you are attending and how many friends you may be bringing with you. Alzheimer s Association Camden Clark Medical Center Transitional Care Unit is conducting a Red Eye Bus Trip to New York City to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. The date of the trip will be June 8th, If you are interested in going or want more information please speak to Terri Schneider. FreeRxPlus Need a Free RX Plus card? KIDS YOUTH DAY: The Grand Central Church of Christ will be hosting a kids youth day at the end of March. More information for this event will be coming soon. PROM ALTERNATIVE: April 28th, 6:30pm - Midnight. Woodridge plantation golf course. $40.00 per person. If you want to participate please get a registration form and send it in ASAP. Youth Event: There will be a youth event for local area churches on April 14th hosted by Little Hocking. More info upcoming.
