1 1835 Cooper County, Missouri Tax List Taxpayers D-H The following is a partial transcription of the 1835 tax rolls of Cooper County, Missouri. The original tax list can be found in the Western Historical Manuscript Collection, 23 llis Library, University of Missouri-Columbia, Columbia, Missouri s can be expected the original record is in fragile condition. The original record consisted of two page of information. Due to the fragile nature of the source document it was requested that only the left page be photocopied. Received a box Collection of Robert P. Clark clerk of the county court of the County of Cooper state of Missouri a list of the taxes all in the County of Cooper of Residents of said County for the 1835 of which the above is a true copy amounting for state purposes to the sum of $ /8 cents and for County purposes to the sum of $ in all to $ /8 which I oblige myself to collect on account for according to law.
