"Jack", In loving memory of Jack who was born April 19, 1921 and deceased December 24, Devoted husband of Frances Grace Amidon (deceased). Loving Father to Arthur John Amidon (deceased), Lisabeth Ruth Christensen, Charles Elliot Amidon (Marjorie Amidon, spouse). Proud Grandfather of Shawn Michael Amidon, Christina Delikta (Chester Delikta III, spouse), and Christopher Harris (grandson "in-law"). One surviving brother, Robert Leroy Amidon. Jack leaves behind a legacy of many special friends and "adopted" children and grandchildren. Jack will be missed by the many lives he has touched. BEDORE, Mildred Irene, of Davison age 89 passed away Saturday December 25, 2010 at Bristol Manor. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm Wednesday December 29, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St.,Davison. Fr. Mildred was born in Burgettstown Pennsylvania November 5, 1921 the daughter of the late;george & Anna (Hritz) Felisky, and resided in the Davison area her entire life. She joined in marriage to Lester "Les" Bedore August 28, 1943 and he preceded her in death December 13, Mildred was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, member of the Fifty and Over Club, St. John Altar Society, Davison VFW Post Auxiliary #4087, and had spent numerous years as a volunteer at the St. Joseph Hosptial of Flint. She survived by children; Richard & BODUNG, Alfred Master Sgt. E-8 (Retired) - Of Grand Blanc, age 83, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Arnold Gentz and Ray Kalanquin co-officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VFW Post #4087. Visitation 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Alfred was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on February 11, On July, 4, 1954, he married Sophie Shkutzko in New York City. Alfred served in Viet Nam and retired from the United States Army. He was a member of VFW Post #4087 and the American Legion. Surviving are cousins, Webster Gentz and Ronnie Carlson both of Wisconsin, John Gentz of Arizona and Arnold Gentz of Wisconsin; and a host of special friends at the Grand Blanc Big Boy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie in CRAKER, Richard A. (Tony) - Age 41, passed away December 7, 2010 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. Tony was a member of the Alabama State Capital Police and a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force reserves. Tony was a veteran of foreign wars having served two tours overseas; one tour in Uzbekistan and one tour in Iraq. Tony was born March 24, 1969 in Flint and raised in the Flint area. He attended Powers Catholic High School. Upon graduation he entered the Air Force and served active duty for 10 years. He then became a member of the Air Force reserves and was due to retire in February of After joining the Alabama State Capital Police he was assigned to Maxwell Air Base until his death. Tony was proud to have served his country and to be a police officer. He had many friends both in the Flint area & Alabama. Tony had a great passion for Dodge trucks, Triumph motorcycles & NASCAR racing. Whenever he wasn't on duty you could always find him working on his, or someone else's truck or motorcycle. He was a good friend to all who knew him and was always willing to lend a helping hand to a stranger. Tony was preceded in death by his mother Elaine Caslmon, father Richard Craker and his grandparents. He is survived by his father Jim (Shirley) Caslmon, sisters Wendy Caslmon of Flint, Amy Caslmon of Traverse City, aunt Veronica Parrottino of Bloomfield Hills, nieces, nephews and great nephews. A joint Air Force/State Police memorial service will be held at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama on January 8, A joint military/police funeral will be conducted in Northport, Michigan where Tony will be buried next to his mother sometime in late April. A memorial service will be conducted in Flint at a later date.

2 EAST, Elizabeth Corona age 89 of Owosso, recently of Stoney Creek Village passed away on Monday December 27, 2010 at her daughters residence surrounded by her family. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul Catholic Church in Owosso on Thursday December 30, 2010 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate with burial to follow at Pine Tree Cemetery in Corunna. A rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Perry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday. Mrs. East was born in St. Helens, England on January 26, 1921, the daughter of Henry & Elizabeth (Unsworth) Curran. On April 21, 1945 she married Harry east in Suffork, England. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Owosso and was a member of St. Catherine Guild Altar Society and the American Red Cross local chapter for 30 years. Elizabeth worked in Home Nursing, was a cook at the John Wesley College, Sir Pizza and at Jerry's Bakery in Owosso. She is survived by her son Michael (MJ) East of Jacksonville, North Carolina, daughter Lynne (Jerry) Beamish of Owosso, and son Kevin East of Owosso, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 grt. grt. grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, daughter Corona, son Brian and a grt. grt. grandchild. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Catholic Church or the American Red Cross. Mr. Gilliland married Henrietta Townsend and she preceded him in death in June He retired from General Motors Metal Fab in September 1996 after 30 years of service. Mr. Gilliland enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and woodworking. HARSHMAN, Lester Raymond 92, of Austin, TX, died December 24, Ray was born Sept 1, 1918, near Colfax, Indiana, to Lester David and Blanche C. Harshman. He grew up in Flint and graduated from Flint Central and the University of Michigan with a BS in Forestry in Ray was married to Katherine L. Harshman over 66 years until her death in He was a WWII veteran, serving with the U.S. Army s 168th Engineer Combat Battalion. Ray was captured December 16, 1944 and held in Germany until May 5, He received the Purple Heart and Prisoner of War medals and Ardennes- Alsace Campaign (Battle of the Bulge) ribbon. Ray s varied business career included forestry & sales management and U.S. Customs Service During retirement he enjoyed summers in Suttons Bay. Ray is survived by one son, Brent Harshman & daughter-in-law Letha Harshman of Austin, & grandchildren, Dr. Leeanne Harshman, Jonathan Harshman & Paul Harshman, all of Dallas. 4 TK was born July 14, 1937 in Flint to the late James and Helen (Toddish) Kenny. He was a resident of Mt. Morris since 1959 coming from Birch Run. He served in the US Army from 1956 to Mr. Kenny was a self employed cement contractor for many years. TK was a member of the Clio Eagles Aerie # 3609 and the American Legion Post #64. Kathryn was born August 28, 1932 in Williamson County, Illinois the daughter of the late Loran and Oma (Clever) McGee. She married Arthur McDougall April 14, 1962 in Energy, Illinois and he preceded her in death on June 26, Kathryn was raised in Illinois and had lived most of her adult life in the Flint area. She was a life-long member of New Haven Baptist Church and attended service every Sunday. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and going to rummage sales. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She was loved dearly and will be remembered forever. He married Rhea Jean Sheldon on December 7, 1946 and she preceded him in death on April 29, Willie was a member of Davison United Methodist Church, Davison American Legion Post # 267 and a Davison Volunteer Fireman. He was a self employed carpenter, a Pattern Maker at Buick Motor Division before retiring in Willie was a Davison Township Building Inspector and also worked for a short time as a Building Inspector for the City of Davison. Willie is survived by his children, Nancy (Wayne) Desjarlais, Bill (Kathy) Ross, Betsy Bailey, Tom (Linda) Ross, Patti Isbell; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clifford (Reba) Ross and Harold (Wanda) Ross; brother-in-law, Ted (Joyce) Sheldon; sisters-in-law, Helen Ross and Joan Wartella; many nieces and nephews. Barb was born in Detroit on January 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Deane and Ruth (McConnell) Southwick. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was passionate about life. Barb taught for a short time before becoming a full time homemaker. Being a daughter of a Librarian, she loved reading and was a published poet. Barb was a devoted Christian and a member of the Goodrich United Methodist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She enjoyed poetry, reading mysteries, boating, gardening, genealogy, sewing, music, playing the piano and also loved her cats. Barb was thoughtful, kind, generous, and a nurturing strength to her family. Surviving are children, Janet (Tim) Bohlen. Jack was born September 13, 1917 in Charlevoix, Michigan the son of the late Wilbur Fremont and Zelma (Anderson) Withers. He was raised in Charlevoix until moving to the University of Southern California where he earned his bachelors degree. Jack then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942 where he served until his retirement in 1977 as a Lieutenant Commander. He also was employed for 30 years by Beecher Community Schools as a teacher until his retirement. Jack was a life long golfer and an artist. He was a commercial sign painter in downtown Flint, whose artwork also appeared on the building walls. Surviving are his daughter, Janis Hulme (Frank) of Grand Blanc; son, William J.
