(Retired 34 year employee of General Motors of Canada; Enjoyed fishing, family and cottage) Peacefully, surrounded by family, at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, on Tuesday, August 11, Gary in his 71st year. Dearly beloved husband of Sharon for 38 years. Loving father of Krista and husband Sean Hunter, and Brenton and partner Kelly. Devoted Poppo of Hayden and Hailey. Predeceased by parents Harry and Noreen Bickle. Son-in-law of Doreen Bairstow. Brother-in-law of Russell and Sheila Armstrong. Will be fondly remembered by his niece Karrie and partner Scott, nephew Jonathan and wife Regan and cousins. Relatives and friends will be received at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa ( ) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Gary to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated by his family.
