2 Announcements VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2017 June 19 23, 2017 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm All kids ages 3 through rising 6 th graders are invited to attend. Volunteers can sign up in the Connection Center A Nursery will be provided for the children of volunteers. Registration Pre-register your child forms are on the Welcome Desk in Connection Center. Meeting for Volunteers There will be a meeting for all VBS volunteers Wednesday, 5/24 at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. You are Invited! Please join us to celebrate the wedding ceremony of Lauren Pierce and Brett Turner at 3:00 pm May 28 th at Clarkesville Baptist Church (near the square). Due to space constraints, the reception is reserved for family & invited guests. Serving Opportunities There are lots of opportunities to serve this summer with the White County Baptist Association, from Compassion Week to the GA Baptist Mobile Dental Unit. We need nurses and good administrative minds to register people for dental work. For dates and info on ways to serve and show the love of Jesus, be at the meeting Wednesday 5/24 at 5:30 in the sanctuary. Any questions, contact Karmen Hulsey or Keith Ivey. 3 Senior Adult Breakfast Thursday, May 25 th at 9:00 Country Crossroads Café Senior Adult Lake Hartwell Outing Wednesday, June 14 We will have lunch and a fun day at Tugaloo State Park. We will return around 3:00 pm., departure time to be determined. Please sign up in the Connection Center. Water Bottle Campaign for Uganda, Africa If you would like to bring items to put in water bottles the church has bought, please put them in the baskets in the Connection Center. The items need to be small like a toothbrush, pencils, small toy, small lotions, stickers, etc. There is an example on the welcome desk. 4 Cleveland Care Center Baby Bottles Wow! Every baby bottle has been taken to fill with change.!! Please have bottles filled and returned to the Connection Center by Sunday, May 28 th. Chattahoochee River Runners Calling All Children ages 4 3 rd Grade!! You are invited to join us for children s worship today! If you have already registered your child, they will depart from the service with their leaders when our pastor dismisses them. If they are not registered, bring them down so we can get your contact information. We will let you know how to pick up your child after the service. Church Wide Prayer 10:00 AM on Tuesdays Join Pastor Chris and Pastor Keith,for a time of prayer in the altar.
