We are so glad you chose to be in the House of the Lord today. Church. Temple. Tabernacle. All names that we utilize to describe where we gather to worship. Today we will be using the term tabernacle as we deliver today s message- Tabernacle Transformation. It comes from the prophet Haggai. We will explore the implication of the word tabernacle and also it s application for us at Living Word. A big tip of the hat to Pastor Lisa and her staff for this week s Fall Festival. Lots of fun for lots of people. I love those kind of gatherings. Except for the fact I didn t get to buy a cake I really enjoyed myself. Pastor Brent and his crew put on a great meal and a fantastic auction. Thanks to all the volunteers for being your splendid selves. Our fall revival with Beth Stephens Johnson soon approaches and I encourage you to block out your schedule and plan to attend each service. I m praying for a mighty spiritual breakthrough here at LWC. Lastly I want to again thank you for your outpouring of love and appreciation for the pastoral staff. We were all wonderfully blessed and pray for a wonderful return on your investment in us. God bless you now let s worship the King of Kings! 4 Love In a Box Registration for Love In A Box is now open! If you would like to register to receive a box, please contact the church office. If you know of someone who needs assistance in providing a Thanksgiving Dinner, please have them to contact our church office during office house (M-F 8:30-5:00). ****** For those who would like to donate towards this outreach, our cost is $35 to sponsor a Thanksgiving box. We appreciate donations of any amount. ****** For those who would like to volunteer to help with Love In A Box, please mark your calendars for Saturday, November 17th. There are many capacities where you can serve. See Pastor Brennan for more information. Revival Mark your calendars for November 11-13th for a Revival with Beth Stephens Johnson. Living Word has been blessed by her messages previously and we welcome Beth back to LWC! It s that time of year again when we begin to collect donations for Falcon Children s Home. These commodities will be delivered to Falcon on Tuesday, November 20th, as they celebrate Harvest Train. Below is a list of some suggested items they are in need of: Can openers, carpet cleaner, ironing boards, irons, scissors, spray starch, kitchen trash cans with lids, light bulbs, body wash, deodorant, sun block, shaving cream, hair gel, ethnic hair products (boys & girls), facial scrub, spices, salt, pepper, bug repellant, medical charts, lip balm, allergy medicines, cough syrup, adult & children s pain relievers, index cards, regular copy paper, binder dividers, report covers, and 2x3 three-ring binders.
