1 CHILDREN S CHURCH DRILL Red Cycle 1 / (A copy should be provided for each Judge) I. QUOTATION DRILL - 6 calls (Bible not used) We will now have the Quotation Drill. You will not use your Bibles. I will give you a scripture reference. When I give the call, you will step forward if you can quote the verse with the reference. 1. When I give the call, you will find the book, place your index finger on any verse in the book called and then step forward. 7 III. KEY PASSAGE DRILL - 6 calls We will now have the Key Passage Drill. You will use your Bibles. I will give the title of a key passage. When I give the call, you will find the passage, place your index finger on any verse in the passage and then step forward. If called upon, you will state the key passage title and the reference. I will then ask you to read a verse within that passage. 19. Attention The Comfort Chapter The Comfort Chapter John 14 Now, please read Verse 23 of that passage. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Jesus answered, If anyone loves me he will keep my word. My Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him. 20.
