2 Charity Lunch for Ramadan Assalamu Alaikum Everyone, You would have noticed in the students' agenda, that May 9, has been dedicated for a charity lunch sale with the intention that all proceeds be dedicated toward charity during the Blessed Month of Ramadan. This initiative started last year with a small group of Grade Three students who desired to continue this annually as a practical application of them being contributors to society. Now in Grade Four, these students have expanded their project to involve more students from other Grade Fours and Grade Fives and to support more charitable organizations. Mr Gee, Ms Salah and Mr Hattum have been very supportive in working with the students in the past four weeks in preparation for this. These students have demonstrated excellent leadership skills during this process. We ask for your support by encouraging your child to purchase hot-dog lunch and treats on Wednesday. Do let them know that a portion of this money will go toward feeding the less fortunate people right here in Edmonton who have no homes. Afterall, charity begins at home. Insha Allah, with such sincere intention from our student-leaders and your kind support and understanding, everything goes well and it is a success. Jazakum Allahu Khair,
