2 I invite you all and inherit you all bondsmen of Allah and to my own self towards Divine Taqwa. I emphasize you all to live your life on the basis of Taqwa and live your lives in accordance with Taqwa. Allah has made the only path for salvation for human being as Taqwa and there is no alternate to Taqwa. There is no one who can create an alternate path of salvation other than Taqwa and anyone who has tried to make, present any other path other than Taqwa leads to destruction. The only sole path for humanity is Taqwa and that too in its specific Quranic essence and meaning. The way Allah has expressed Taqwa in Quran is not found in the same sense in the minds of the ordinary people. In the minds of ordinary people and also that of intellectuals Taqwa is present in their minds. It is possible that Taqwa is present in the minds of many but could be acquainted with many affairs which are not at all related to Taqwa. There are many such acts, steps, affairs, attributes which are the considered as the fundamental elements of Taqwa but believers might not be considering them or giving any importance to it. If you ignore the essence, fundamental elements and spirit of Taqwa and start considering something else as Taqwa, then this is not Taqwa. Like if a believer is adhered to customary cultural rituals we consider him as a staunch believer; though customs are not part of Taqwa. Unless the obligations from Allah, the covenants and responsibility which Allah has kept for believers are not adopted this will not be Taqwa. There are many who won t leave any customs but they ignore obligations. They do this in all affairs of life where people leave the principles, fundamentals and give significance to secondary aspects. If we just look at the normal family lives; we leave aside many family household responsibility but do not abandon any cultural aspects. Like we consider it obligatory to visit our home on Eid day but the same person does not cares about his family throughout the year; he does not send them living expenses; he does not take care to nurture them; did not stop them from forbidden acts instead himself provided Haraam means but considers it as obligatory to visit home on Eid. It is possible that a person is not present on Eid day at home but he delivers all the family obligations then he is possessing Taqwa. Similarly the women at home do not care about their chastity and modesty; they ignore this and only deliver customs they are considered as believing women. They do all arrangements for Eid, wear black dress in Mohurrum but they do not care about their chastity. Similar the youths; who are not getting nurtured on the basis of Taqwa because the atmosphere inside the house is not of Taqwa. We have to first establish the fundamental principles of Taqwa and then we can also deliver the secondary elements it is also very good, but if we ignore the principles of Taqwa then this would not be Taqwa. In Quran, Allah has expressed all the principles of Taqwa in various affairs. In Surah Hajj, verse 32 was presented before and a brief exposition of that done related to Shair ullah and Taqwa of heart. In the same context where Tazeem of Shair ullah is considered as sign of Taqwa present in heart, after this in verse 37 again Taqwa is mentioned. 1 ل ن ي ن ال ا ه لل ح ل ح و ح مه ا و ل د م احؤه ا و ل ك ن ي ن الحه ح التهق و ى م ن حكم ك ذ ل ك س هخر ه ا ل حكم ل تحك ر ح وا ا ه لل م ا }37{ ه د ا حكم و ب رش ر ال ح مح س ن ي There does not reach Allah their flesh nor their blood, but to Him is acceptable Taqwa on your part; thus has He made them subservient to you, that you may magnify Allah because He has guided you aright; and give good news to those who do good (to others)

3 If someone gets the Taufeeq to do Hajj and he is delivering the obligation of Hajj then he does sacrifice which as an obligatory rite of Hajj. This is also an example of what I said before, that many are eligible for Hajj and Hajj is obligatory on them. A person who has that much wealth with him by which he can travel to Mecca, stay there, return from there and during this period the means of sustenance for his family is also present, Quran refers to this person as Mustatee (eligible). Majority of the believers are Mustatee but they do not do their Hajj instead spend more than that on customs, rituals. They spend millions on the marriages of their children. They do two things; one is Israaf, that is excessive spending and second is forsaking an obligation. They spend during marriages on unnecessary things like giving dowries, big dinners, and showing off, comparing with others but don t do Hajj. They give excuses that we have expenses of marriages of children but do not perform their Hajj. They spend 2 to 3 million rupees on marriages which is Haraam and then they also forsake an obligation. They do not go for Hajj and spend millions on Majlis, calling orators and then more the customs they deliver they are considered as more religious in the eyes of people. In the eyes of Allah first deliver your obligations. Similarly they don t deliver their economical obligations like Zakat, Khums and do not deliver the right of others, but are very strict about customary rituals. Then they consider themselves as big believers. The Quran says that those who have these conjectures they only came they are believers. They have these conjectures that they are believers just because they are delivering some customs but they are abandoning the obligations. They sacrifice animals on the day of Eid. They buy expensive sheep and then do a show off parade in streets. They show, publish reports that this year s most expensive animal. Sacrifice is obligatory on those who go for Hajj and is the custom of Prophet Ibrahim (a.s). But those who are not blessed with Hajj, it is supererogatory for them to do sacrifice of animal but with the soul of sacrifice. Sacrifice (Qurb) is meant for the purpose of seeking proximity with Allah. To only slaughter an animal is not sacrifice. Every act that becomes the basis of seeking nearness to Allah is Qurbani. All obligations, righteous acts delivered by man sincerely are the basis of getting near to Allah. If a person does sacrifice on the day of Eid in his house or at Hajj; here also there is a need of Taqwa and it should be done with Taqwa. This verse 37 is related to this point only that in the act of sacrifice there is only Taqwa as the essential thing and nothing else is mandatory. What is significant in your eyes and has value for the people but for Allah these things do not have any significance. ل ن ي ن ال ا ه لل ح ل ح و ح مه ا و ل د م احؤه ا و ل ك ن ي ن الحه ح التهق و ى م ن حكم The meat of the animal does not reaches Allah that goes into your stomach. And not even the blood reaches Allah. But what reaches to Allah is your Taqwa. This is a key point and policy given by Allah as guidance in this verse which solves many problems. Let me explain the background that during the era of ignorance and also from the time of creation of mankind, human being is involved in the acts of sacrificing something for the sake of pleasing the sacred things that he worshipped. A person can be of any religion; in every religion there are certain affairs where the follower of that religion has faith and belief in that. Even those who have Shirk in their religion where they have Idols as god. They believe that these idols give them sustenance, children, wealth and other things or they have this in mind that it is not the Idol but some other super sanctitous being but this Idol is the means to reach that super God. The one who fulfills is someone else with whatever name they might have given and that being is non approachable. Hence in order to please the being and calm down his anger they worship these Idols and use them as means. This Idol is related to the super being and if we present something in front of this idol it reaches that super being. They would think due to their ignorance that all natural calamities like floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, lightening and sickness all happens due to displeasure of the Idol Gods. These Gods would also get displeased for small reasons like a woman 2

4 has visited graveyard or some hymn was not recited. And till the time the Idol God is annoyed he brings wrath on people and calamities. In order to please him they would make attempts by going on mountains, deserts to seek forgiveness from Idol. They would take the guilty person to the mountain or in front of the idol and even kill that person because due to him the Idol god is displeased. In order to please them there were different ways to please them which were taught by their priests. Some places they would cook sweets, Haleem and various dishes and take it to the temples and place it there. They then later visit and if the food is not found there they believe that the Idol is pleased and it has eaten the food but actually the Pundit there eats the food. This concept of sacrifice is present since ancient times to please the Idol gods man presents something that is liked by them or in reality liked by man. In every religion this has been found since ancient times. In Arabs also they had the concept of sacrifice present in them since ancient times. They would sacrifice animals around the Kaaba and would hang the meat of animal on the walls of Kaaba and rub the blood of the walls of Kaaba and some blood on their body specifically if they were sick. They would believe that for the acceptance of this sacrifice some flesh of the animal has to go to their God and other part they would take for themselves. This was the imagination they had that we would do sacrifice and some part we will keep and some will go to God. Quran clarified their ignorance that sacrifices are not meant for pleasing Allah; these are traits of people whereby when Kings, feuds, lords, rulers, governors are displeased they take gifts to get pleased. This is not the religious concept of sacrifice but instead of ignorance. This is the weakness of Tauheed first and sacrifices in religion is amongst its fundamental. If this fundamental is weak and Imam Ali (a.s) says that the beginning of religion starts from recognition of Allah. The relationship with Allah is the basis of religion and if this is weak and concept about Allah itself is weak, then the entire wall of religion will be crooked and till the end if he will build this crooked building and this religion which he makes would be worst then non-religiousness. The Hindu religion is like this only and there are also similar religions. Christianity, Judaism are all religions and there are many other religions on earth which are not mentioned in the heavenly books but across continents tribes, people are having some form of religion. There is a film present on ancient worships and there is a glimpse of all religions presented in it. After looking at those scenes it seems like all religions are same. They have shown Hindu s, Muslims sects, Christians, Judaism, Buddhist and they have shown all the religions, known as well as unknown, from Africa, India, Australia, America to see what all people are worshipping. Somewhere people are worshipping trees, stones, idols, animals and very lowly things, shameful things which people are worshipping. Here in your neighboring country of India these people are present; in Japan, Korea where they worship human private parts. These are the sacred things of theirs. There is a glimpse of every religion present. It is a silent movie, there is no dialogue and only scenes are present of ancient culture and present. It looks like it is all the same religion because there is a similitude in all only difference is in their color and geography. These are all outcome of being distancing from Tauheed which Quran has titled as polytheism. They have got faith but it is adulterated with Shirk. There is a verse in the Quran related to this Majority of the believers are indulged into polytheism. This is a very important verse and this is a big alert and as per some traditions the biggest alert for believers is in this verse. But since we are not serious people these verses do not affect us. This is the verse of the Quran that majority of the people who have got faith are into Shirk. Their faith is adulterated with Shirk. This concept of sacrificing animal that to please displeased lords we present sacrifices so that they are pleased and these Lords will give us rains and welfare. All this is because man is not having the Maarifat of Allah. Many of us consider Allah as a creation only but much bigger than any other creation. They increase the power, authority of a creation and it becomes Allah. The Quran says Allah is purified from what 3

5 we associate with Allah. This is the displeasure of the creations who get pleased and displeased if they get and don t get something. The essence of Allah is not like this. This is the secret of Tauheed if someone can understand this simple sentence. That Allah has no comparison with the creation with any aspect. There is no attribute or trait of creation present in Allah. Allah is not like creation, does not possess any trait, attribute and any state of creation. This is the simple sentence that the Creator is not creation and if someone can reach the core of this phrase and acquire the essence of this, then this is Tauheed for him. The essence of Allah is not a creation. Place, time, limitations, state changes, pleasure, displeasure, anger, calmness are all traits of creation and not creator. This is the reason these misguidance develops that Allah is displeased and we present these gifts to please him. The concept of sacrifice is not this which Arabs of era of ignorance were doing. This meat and blood which you rub on the Kaaba does not reaches the essence of Allah but what reaches is Taqwa. These two things; meat and blood are just expressed as examples. Your dollars, rupees and nothing reaches Allah. That is the domain of creator and these are things related to creation and it is restricted for them to go there. These are creation, imperfect and materialistic and the vicinity of Allah is enlightened, spiritual and these do not reach there. The only thing that reaches there is Taqwa and creation with all the efforts can only make one thing reach Allah that is Taqwa. Allah only need Taqwa; its meat, skin, trotters are all for you and your benefits. For Allah it is Taqwa that is present inside the act is for Allah. Your intention, sincerity is for Allah, Sacrificing animal is a symbolic act and with this symbolic act the real act of Taqwa gets manifested. When you slaughter the animal and run the knife on the neck of the animal and cut its nerves. This is the symbolic knife but there is a real knife also. You have cut the symbolic nerve of animal which was connecting it with the organs of body. You have cut the nerve of blood, breathing, nervous system, food system and the four fundamental nerves which are meant for controlling the body of animal, you have cut all of them. Now you have disconnected the link of the animal with its body. But you have to cut the actual nerve on which you have to run the knife of intention and will. The four actual nerves that you have cut are the real nerves which have turned man into beast. These four nerves when they are cut, then your humanity will start. These four nerves which are connected with this world, those whom you love other than Allah, for those whom you are living your life. Man s life is in his money, wealth, children, property, lust and we are living for these only. These are four things which man is doing and after; food, lust, acquiring wealth and love of children. These four nerves have made man fallen down from humanity and distanced from his lord. Those connections are the desire of love ح زير ن ل نهاس حب ال هشه و ات م ن النر س اء و ال ب ن ي و ال ق ن اط ري ال ح مق ن ط ر ة م ن الهذه ب و ال ف هضة و ا ل ي ل }14{ ن د ه ح حس ح مس هوم ة و ا ل ن ع ام و ا ل ر ث ا ل ي اة الد ن ي ا ن ال م ب ذ ل ك م ت اع ح و ا ه لل ح ال ح The love of desires, of women and sons and hoarded treasures of gold and silver and well bred horses and cattle and tilth, is made to seem fair to men; this is the provision of the life of this world; and Allah is He with Whom is the good goal (of life What has become Zeenat for you? For these four things man does everything and breaks all relationship for these four things. The love of women for the sake of lust and then love of children, then wealth that too that is acquired as depots, stores, bank accounts. These are the things, these four loves need to be cut. These are not cut with the knife of iron, it is cut with the knife of intention. This is actual work, this is Taqwa. To buy animal, present it in market, make selfie, show it to the world all this is ignorance. 4

6 Just see an ordinary person buys a sacrifice animal. Just look at the scene of Eid from one more angle. This is terminology of film makers. There are many cameras used. Some cameras are recording the scenes but there is one camera that is recording the camera team. It is beyond the cameras. In every film, one or two cameras are recording the various stages of film shooting; what the director, producer, cameraman are doing. In terminology it is known as behind the scene which is recording the efforts, difficulties of this shooting team and how much trouble they have taken. This behind the scene is very important. We should do the same on the day of Eid. There should be a vision such that one view is that people are buying animals, sacrificing, celebrating and there should be one more view on what is happening behind the scene. Like it is the Eid day on which what women, businessman, ordinary people and then religious persons are doing. One person purchased the animal on the day, he took selfies, and presented it all is done by ordinary person. Then you see what a religious person with Taqwa is doing. He does not remember Ibrahim, Ismael but instead he is after animal skin, as to how many he can gather. All religious persons, organizations, parties they have forgotten all the philosophy of sacrifice, Eid and they don t even go to prayers of Eid, they are just after animal skins. Since in Pakistan the government has made it difficult and NOC is required to gather skins. now they have to do workaround. This is such a great day of Eid and see what different groups are doing and that group which has the responsibility to teach Taqwa to others; forgets Taqwa and is busy in skins. When the Imams of the people, when religious youths of the community are into this? People are wearing new dresses on the day of Eid and these youths are wearing track suits because he has to gather skins. In Karachi there is another scene of looting animal skins which only happens in Karachi. These small groups, parties of local areas; they collect the skins in the truck and then big groups and specifically that one big organization of Karachi and others also come with guns to loot these trucks carrying animal skin. The Supreme Court has given the names of these groups who are doing this. There are political parties, communal parties and even the name of Jamaat e Islami is also there. In Karachi everyone becomes like this. In Mohurrum people cook food for Majlis and these parties come with guns to loot the food. See the day of Eid is so significant and how man should spend this day? See what the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s), Ibrahim (a.s) and Imams (a.s) were doing on this day and what a Shia, Muslim is doing. Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) would do a symbolic sacrifice on this day and one real sacrifice. The leaders should on this day cut the nerves of connection on this day. If there is Taqwa then skin, blood and flesh is not acquired on this day, instead he acquires Taqwa. Flesh, meat, skin should go to poor persons and you should do real sacrifice. Neither do you get the meat, flesh for the sacrifice. In these verses, there are some of points which are part of these verses; one is about Mukhbateen in verse 34. This verse is also related to Taqwa and sacrifice. There are many fundamental things in these verses, which are necessary to understand, we have to understand these key terminologies without which we cannot under the actual meaning of the verses SECOND SERMON Atrocities in Myanmar In current affairs, amongst global issues after several years the issue of Myanmar has come up in the news but only up to the level of news. Since at a global level some have raised this issue, hence it was raised by Pakistan also and some other countries also joined it and some movement started though it is only limited to telecasting of news and up to media level. There has been no practical step, and 5

7 instead the tyranny has increased. They were brutally martyring them, they were burning their houses, women, children they were burning their men alive, whose pictures were broadcasted and is present. There is a hypocrisy there, their ruler Aung san Soo chi has got the Noble prize and this Noble prize is only given to such persons who are tyrant and do something like this. From Pakistan, Malala was given and on what basis they also don t know why Malala was given, but they are preparing her to become the Prime Minister for Pakistan. They are releasing every moments of her in news. They are preparing for you. Allama Iqbal has prophesized this much before that there is a daughter of this Western culture Fitnah who is getting nurtured in the West and this is what this global Fitnah is being prepared for you. Then this lady of Myanmar started a movement aginst the army arrogance in Myanmar for freedom of Myanmar but this witch women is much crueler then even the army there. Their pundits, police are shedding blood of innocent Muslims there on this Eid and before that. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims are running, some escaped, some drowned, some were killed, burnt alive and they have moved to Bangladesh and they have not been given any nationality there and they are asked to leave Bangladesh. First Bangladesh closed the borders, but now they have opened it but with high strictness. India has closed their border. The entire world is insensitive. All the global organizations are not even taking the name of these Rohingya Muslims. Now this has started in Muslim world. First Erdogan raised the voice that these Muslims should be given refuge and demanded from Bangladesh to give them refuge. This is at least one step that to the extent of media their name has come and no one was attentive towards them. Fitnah against Muslims across globe and against Shias in Islamic world This Fitnah that has started against Muslims across the world, the clash of civilization in which the Muslims were used due to their ignorance; specifically the Arabs and their disciples in Pakistan and Afghanistan who made terrorist groups and promoted them. These are the part of the same clash of civilization and these are all the army of Satan s and the outcome is coming out now. All this is due to hatred, envy, enmity towards Islam. The entire world has seen that this is army of West; with Arabic wealth has demonstrated their hatred towards Islam. The outcome of this, if you analyze the global opinion that the psychology that is created whereby there is no sympathy towards Muslims across the world. They have made this public opinion with the help of media and their policies. See what jihad is going on in Europe, people drive trucks on pathways, parks and this creates hatred. Western Satan s have aroused this hatred with planning and have created such scenes that there are no sympathy and sentiments toward Muslims from anywhere in the world. The leaders of Muslim states are also not concerned and associated with the West. What West speaks or becomes sensitive they also become. They follow west. What is happening in the world against Muslims is the same what is being done with Shias in the Islamic word. In the Muslim world the same hatred is aroused against Shias in the world. A public opinion is made against Shiites. The oppression done in Yemen is much more than what is being done in Burma. There in Burma a gang comes attacks a village, they burn and kill people. In Yemen, there are several aerial attacks on daily basis, almost 60 to 70 attacks are done on daily basis but there is no news coming across the world. You can see in your country that the media dos not give any single news about it. There is oppression in Bahrain but none of our media or global media also presents anything. In Syria, Iraq, Nigeria what has happened with the Shias and their leader there is no news, no statements are issued. The sympathy against Shiites has been ended in the Islamic world, through Takfirism, Arabic wealth and hatred was developed against Shiite. The same hatred opinion has been against Muslims globally. If today there is a flood where Muslims may God forbid get drowned, there will be no sympathy. India getting prepared with Myanmar 6

8 In Myanmar the Buddhists, communists are killing brutally the Muslims, but no support and no one is ready to issue any statement. In fact Modi has meet Soo chi and has assured his cooperation with her; that you continue with this and remove them out of Myanmar and we will remove them from India also. The same thing that is going on in Myanmar is being prepared in India as well. The same picture they want to repeat in India also. They are also doing in India and discrete incidents are happening but in limited scale. They have given this a new face of gang attacks which are done on Muslims. This is the same thing they are doing in Burma and are already doing in small scale in India also on individuals and they want to take this forward. In Burma there are less Muslims, few hundred thousand but in India there are more than 20 Million Muslims and when they will get besieged the situation would be more dreadful but there also in India no steps seems to be taken by Muslims. This is the treachery which the Arabs have done and for the sake of evil, filthy power they have acted on the plans of Satan s and have made the Islamic world reach to this stage of destruction. And the waste of these power hungry Arabs have done big sedition in Afghanistan and Pakistan and this is continuing now. There is no one ready to leave this filthy path. Universities New breeding ground of terrorism in Pakistan The same effects are seen in Pakistan as well. In last few weeks, there is a new face of terrorism that has come out in Pakistan. In the past after Afghan battle the Madrassahs were involved and terrorists were produced from there and everyone knows as it was done openly for more than 20 yrs this act went on and when they realized it is out of control, and their leaders themselves were affected and they were attacked by the Fitnah created by their own hands. They tried to control this after the attack on Peshawar school, then they decided to finish them. Prior to this terrorism was on its peak, Shias Hussainiah, Juloos, personalities were attacked. Now when it came to them, they started this operation. They kept all their attention on Madrassahs and they knew which Madrassah are doing but they went on with a search operation on every Madrassah. Now today they found that the dangerous den of terrorism are university. The operation that was done on Eid day whereby an attack was done on personality, they found that it was done by University students, where one was PHD, one was engineering student, M Phil, one Doctor. They were searching for terrorists in Madrassahs and they found now they are being breed in university. The universities have become dangerous dens of weapons, terrorists and these came in newspapers that several times Punjab universities were raided and hidden weapons were found in big quantum from there. Karachi University, engineering colleges like madrassah they handed over them to universities. Now they are planning to end them from university. They are doing search operations in universities and they are seeking files of university students. Why did you left these universities on their own? There were several clashes, riots that took place in university. This is the outcome of the clash of civilization and we can see what has been done with both religious institutes and secular ones also. Now you will see educated terrorists coming out, PHD, MBBS terrorists will come out, in the past they were ignorant. If he is educated, they will be more dangerous. Educated person will have more knowledge, his mind will work better. Here also politics and other difficulties will come on the way and this will not get solved. They will just keep this in news there is an immediate action required, a cleansing is required. Imam Khomeini (r.a) ordered to close the university after revolution and ordered to clean it up with all filth. If that would not have been done, in few months the revolution would have failed. Now also there is an argument on Imam s decision as to whether it was right for Imam to order shut down of universities. There are many students who went for training in Afghanistan. In newspaper there is name of every university from where students have gone to Afghanistan for training. One college student presented some propagation material which was shown to me. That was dreadful material which is being published in Medical College since years and distributed and such things are being done in our college. Those who 7

9 are reading such things, then get educated also where will they reach? This dreadful act in Pakistan whereby on one side they are claiming to end terrorism. I have said before also that the terrorism from Pakistan can only end when its roots are eliminated which are three. One are those visions, ideology, thoughts which are coming from madrassah, universities. We all know which are those centers where this Takfirist ideology is present whereby all are Kafir and obligatory to kill other than us. If this vision is not controlled and operation is not done against this vision then terrorism will never end from Pakistan. Second is the government sponsors and guardians of terrorism who are till now taking care of them. They are present till now in various government organizations. Third is the wealth and connection of Arab states. Till the time that interference of Arab states is present this terrorism will not end. Even if you arrest daily several terrorist, these are just leaves which you are cutting, but that will not help. You have to cut down the roots. Is there anyone who has the courage to do this? The one who can give salvation to Pakistan is the one who can cut these roots. Then there will be no terrorist born in madrassah, university, college and in any place. But this act will not happen because you know how deep these three roots are. Everything can end but these are not easy to do. Only one group can do that is the community but the community is at a big distance, in terms of sense, they have to develop the Sha oor, Insight (Baseerat) when a community makes an intention then a big mountain can also come down and nothing can stand in front of a communal intention. When that sense will develop in the community for their nation, religion, Islam and these are the sanctities which everyone should protect has mandatory. We have to take these steps and we pray to Allah to secure Pakistan from internal and external threats. May Allah destroy these roots through his army and we pray to Allah to secure all the Muslims specifically in Myanmar, Yemen, and Hijaz where they are being oppressed. 8
