In the same way, the cause for all the fortunes, happiness, pleasures, good health, successes, virtuous characters and physical and mental satisfactions enjoyed in this life lies in the virtuous deeds committed in the previous birth. Under these conditions, it is possible to attain all the desires including the welfare of the entire world through the chanting of the rudra mantrás, abhishekas and homás. All the difficulties and poverties can be overcome, and righteous living can be enjoyed using this, the Ráma báņa. Chants of the immortal rudra mantras are like the Fire- and Sun-Gods purifying all the rotten; like the kámadhenu and kalpavrksha offering all boons sought for. This kótirudra páráyana has been blessed and inaugurated by the Paramapújya Jagadguru Śrí Śrí Bháratítírtha Maháswámigal of of Śrîngeri, in the Hindu year Swatiśrí Vikrîti during the month of Mágha Śuddha on the Dvitíya day ( ) Saturday, at Mathur village, famed as the Sanskrit village in Shimoga district of Karnataka. Then onwards, nearly a more than four thousand faithful and devoted Ŕtviks from throughout India have been performing the Rudra páráyanas in their own houses, and are in the process of completing the Kótirudra japa. Upon completing the Kótirudra japa, a special yágaśálá will be constructed in a vast, 10-acre plot in Śríkshetra Belaguru. There will be 121 hómakundás, each hómakundá seating 11 Ŕtviks, thus totaling to 1331 Ŕtviks, who will each offer Rudra-Swáhákárás 11 times every day, and thus repeat so for 11 days. Thus, the hómás will be conducted, along with other vedic rights and practices, culminating in the Sángatáyajna.
