Morning Prayer takes place in the sanctuary and afternoon prayer takes place in the overflow room. For question please see Philip Morgan. Jesus says in Matthew 24:41 " Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." E.G.White in Selective Messages pg. 111 states "The time has come when we must expect the Lord to do great things for us. Our efforts must not flag or weaken. We are to grow in grace an in the knowledge of the Lord..." Let us then as His disciples be watchful and praying daily for church unity and the gift of the Holy Spirit. 4 ANNOUNCEMENTS New Bulletin Submission(s): Please submit to Sis. Charlene Paige by 5:00 p.m. Wednesdays at Announcements submitted after this time will be included in the following Sabbath s bulletin. 1. Tithe & Offering Online giving through our church website is not currently working. To give online, download the EasyTithe App on your computer or cell phone. You will need to navigate to our church name. This will allow you to give online. We will be moving to a new giving platform through our church website in the near future. 2. Vacation Bible School - Park Hill SDA Church is participating with Solomon Temple for a Community Vacation Bible School Program. June 18 th 22 nd 7pm, nightly Elm Street Denver CO This program is open to everyone! 3. Health Ministry - The Health Ministry team is recruiting volunteers for the Colorado Black Arts Festival, July If interested, please contact Sis. Conner at Camp High Point Fun, Friendship, & Faith - June 24 th July 7 th Includes Junior Camp and Teen/Sports Camp. Space is limited, register soon at Women s Conference Growing in Jesus, A Thirst for More Hosted by Pastor Hyveth Williams on September 20 th -23 rd at the Central States Conference Retreat Center. Upcoming Events Communion Sabbath is June 23 rd. Friends & Family Day will be on Sabbath June 30 th. 8. Community Services- We are currently accepting donations of adult and children spring and summer clothing, household items, and non-perishable food items. Please hold off on donating all fall and winter clothing at this time. 9. Youth Usher Club - has been established, the officers of the club are: CEO Keshaun Daviss, President Taileja Vaughns & Vice President Alichia Carrethers-Morris. The dues are $5.00 per year for events. If you would like your young person to be a part of this club, please contact one of the officers listed above. They will keep a listing of all members. You may turn in the dues via a tithe envelope and mark it as Youth Usher Club. The officers are in training right now and they will begin training all other members. The goal is for the Youth Usher Club to serve every 3 rd Sabbath. 10. Children s Choir If you would like for your child to participate in the Children s Choir, please contact Sis. Carter Youth Choir Attention all youth ages 13-18, Youth Choir rehearsal is every Friday evening at 7pm. All are invited to join. See Bro. Hinds for details. 13. Mid-Week Prayer Meeting is every Wednesday at 11am. 14. Power Hour Wednesday s at 7pm come and receive a midweek refreshing through prayer. 15. Prophecy Seminar Sunday s at 5pm. Pastor Robert L. Davis, is presenting end time prophecy through the book of Daniel verse by verse. 16. Children s Sabbath School We are in need of the following donations: Small miniature bottles of water, peach fruit cups, mandarin oranges cups, and apple sauce cups. Your support is greatly appreciated. *Children s Sabbath school is from 10am 11am. Childcare services are provided during the service from 11am 2pm in the beginner s lower level classroom.
