26 Page 26 Sofia Vjorc(jevic 2015 'Emy{oyee of tfie Year lvhereas, the City qf Rancho Santa Margarita's Employee Recognition Program was introduced to recognize employees who demonstrate outstanding service, performance, prqftssionalism and a "Can Do" attitude that makes Rancho Santa Margarita a successful customer service oriented organization; and lvhereas, Sqfia Djordjevic was nominated and chosen by her colleagues to receive the fi'rst-annual Employee qf the Year award; and lvhereas, in September 2014, Sqfi'a was promoted to Management Aide and jumped right into the position by taking on various tasks including Information Technology, working as the lead during the implementation and management qf the City's website redesign project; and WHEREAS, even with these increased duties, Sqfia continued to assist Finance with the production qf the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, Human Resources with the recruitment qf new employees, and Administration by assisting with the Executive Secretary's duties after her retirement; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize and commend Sqfia Djord:fevic with this inaugural employee recognition for her initiative, hard work, and outstanding dedication; NOW, THEREFORE, I, L.
