The season of Charge Conference, budgeting, stewardship, and the list goes on and on. It is easy to get lost in the administration and lose sight of what God is calling us to do. So, what is God doing in and through us? How is He partnering with First United Methodist? I want to share what I have witnessed the last 3 months. First, it has been amazing to see your participation on Wednesday Nights. If you are not currently coming on Wednesdays, I encourage you to participate. Second, I am so thankful for the children and youth ministries of this church. The youth led worship service was powerful. Not only did I see spiritual maturity, I was blown away by the Holy Spirit working through each element of the service. Every week, I read the Parent Cue sent home with the children, the Sunday School lesson, and hear of the fun they had at church. Finally, I sat in choir rehearsal a few weeks ago with 30 other people. Folks, do you realize how blessed we are to have these ministries? All of these things happen because of God and your willingness to serve, participate, and support them. I will share more next month of how God is moving in our midst, but I would love to hear from you. In the coming weeks, tell me where God is moving in your life. Please prayerfully consider giving to this fund. The money collected is well spent helping people in need in our local community. Soup Kitchen Donations continue to be needed for the Soup Kitchen.
