2 Welcome to the service today. We are so happy that you are with us today. We hope you will enjoy worship with us and join us for coffee or tea and treats after the service; we would love to get to know you. Victory Christian Centre is a community church where we hope you will feel welcome and needed! It is our belief that God has a plan and purpose for every person. It is our desire to impact the surrounding communities in a positive and powerful way. I believe that each person in the VCC family has something special to contribute in building one another up in Christ as well as serving in the church. We are all part of one body with many parts. Where do you fit in? For those who have children, we have Children s Church (following the worship time) for 2-12 year olds. We do not just believe that our children are the "church of tomorrow"... we also believe they are the "church of today", and are of great value to the body of Christ. On Tuesday evenings we have an awesome youth night (Revolution) for ages 12 to 17. We are excited to offer a variety of weekly Home Life Group Ministries and would like to invite you to take advantage of one of them. Please call the office if there is any way we can be of further help. We d love to hear from you. If you would like prayer today, a member of our Prayer Team will be available at the front of the church after the service to pray for you. May God truly bless you today and always! The next EstherGen meeting will be held January 18 at 10 am. Our goal is to learn more about the character of God, build trusted friendships, and encourage one another over coffee and fun activities.

Meal at Marjory s Marjory Campbell is hosting a dinner for anyone attending the Tuesday evening cell group at her house. Dinner is at 6:30pm. RSVP is Required. For those not coming to dinner, the teaching will begin at 7:15. All are welcome, just remember to RSVP with Marjory ahead of time. 5 This Year Invest What God Has Given You Remember, each of us will stand personally before the Judgment Seat of God. Romans 14:10 Judgment day will be characterized by two things: rewards and regrets! Jesus highlights this in the story of three servants who were given talents to invest on behalf of their master. The first two invested well and were rewarded, while the third one buried his talent and was judged accordingly. The first two considered their options, crunched the numbers, took the plunge, and were willing to risk failure. As a result their boss said, Well done, good and faithful servant (Matthew 25:21 NKJV). Now, God doesn t reward foolishness. So before you make a move, talk it over with Him (see Proverbs 3:5-6). The third servant, however, said, I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground (Matthew 25:25 NKJV). He made the most common and tragic mistake when it comes to giftedness: he failed to benefit his Master with his talent. Some invest their talents and give God credit, while others misuse theirs and give Him grief. Some honour Him with fruit, while others insult Him with excuses. And how does God feel about the latter? Get rid of this play-it-safe who won t go out on a limb (Matthew 25:29 MSG). Fear is the opposite of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please [God] (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). So this year step out in faith; God won t let you down. Take a risk; He won t fail you. Even if you stumble on your way to success, He encourages you to envision the day when you ll feel His hand on your shoulder and hear the words: Well done, good and faithful servant!

6 During The Week Sunday Prayer Service Celebration Service Life Groups 9:45-10:15 am 10:30 am VCC s Life Groups consist of small groups of people who meet, during the week, in selected homes and at the church. Through these groups you will receive strength and encouragement, develop longterm relationships and enjoy great Bible study and interaction. They provide a safe place to ask questions about the Bible and really learn to enjoy the Word and celebrate your Christian walk with others like you.
