Tuesdays at Perks in Monroe. Wednesdays 8-9 at La Iguana-Juda, and 1:30-3 at Zion Church office. She is around and available at other times, just call to confirm any additional options that may better suit your needs, but keep in mind that Friday is Pastors Sabbath.

8 Joys and Concerns If you have a joy or concern that you would like to share discretely, you may fill out one of the brightly colored Joys/Concerns cards in the pews and they will be collected after the Children s sermon. Your prayer will be read during prayer time and published in the bulletin the following week. Also please indicate on the back of the card if you would also like the prayers shared with the prayer chain.

11 Prayer Chain of Prayer Warriors Did you know you don t have to wait until Sunday, to get the word out for people to pray? We have an prayer chain of prayer warriors standing by for prayers of intercession and praise. To request a prayer or to be recruited into the chain, contact the office or Pastor Vicki.

14 Zion Church 150 years Zion Church 150 years. Save these Sunday dates for our 150 th celebrations! Jan. 29 will be a Birthday party to celebrate 150 years of faith in Jesus. May 7 music will remind us how blessed we have been. Oct. 22 will be a homecoming for past friends and reminder to carry on. Expect gifts, cake, pictures, songs, displays, speakers, interviews. 16 Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) New or returning members of Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC), please register for an upcoming SPRC training. All SPRC members are strongly encouraged to attend and learn about their responsibilities, especially new SPRC chairs and new committee members. The content of the day will be different from previous years and the training is open to clergy as well. RSVP to the District Office Manager (DOM) one week

20 Women s Bible Study Women s Bible Study resuming again: Mon., Jan. 23 rd 6:30 at Kay Carter s home. Though we are often hurt, shocked and angered by the evil in our world, it doesn t catch God off-guard. He cares about our suffering, he s with us in the midst of our tragedies and sin, and he can even bring good out of the worst circumstances.

21 Women s Bible Study (con t) God doesn t give us all the answers about why we suffer, but these eight studies by Douglas Connelly will help us trust him and his power more even in the midst of our pain. Please bring a dish to pass. Cost of study is $6.75 payable to Shelly Jordan. Please let Shelly or Kay know that you are interested in attending.

22 Tyler s TEAM Foundation Winter Barn Painting event Tyler s TEAM Foundation will be hosting a Winter Barn Painting event on Sun., Jan at the Juda Community Center. No experience needed! The Paint Shack will step you through creating this fun winter scene painting! They will bring all that you will need: easels, 16x20 canvas, aprons, brushes, water, paint and a fun social artist (John s Cousin) to help you along the way! $35 per person and everyone welcome!

24 Tyler s TEAM Foundation Winter Barn Painting event Checks payable to The Paint Shack and can be mailed to Tyler s TEAM Foundation W3050 Middle Juda Rd., Juda, WI This painting party will be benefit Tyler s TEAM Foundation, Inc. We are a non-profit charitable organization. The funds will be used towards scholarships and to continue to promote suicide awareness and mental health within our surrounding communities.
