The Mystery Trio Is there anyone reading this who has a good explanation for how the Holy Trinity works? If so step up you can make history! Not even St. Augustine could explain it. But then, we also can t explain the deepest feelings we have about the person we love, the amazing concert we went to, or the fantastic artwork we saw at the Museum. Why do words fail us? Because the dynamic interactions within the Trinity are the core of every experience of beauty, wonder, grandeur, and amazement that we can possibly have. So, now, turn off your thinking brain, and go way outside the box on this: The Trinity is not a thing. And the Trinity is not a special kind of person that results when you put three ingredients together. The Trinity is a description of the energy and movement of the most intimate relationship far beyond the depth of love and interaction that you share with the love of your life. Your bond is only a shadow of the explosive, utterly beatific dance of love that fuses, seals, and completes the members of the Trinity. But the amazing feelings we have in life are supposed to move us to a greater sense of compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude. So let us live as the Trinity does, in a dance of beauty and power which constantly spins out love and concern for everything in our path. Let us forgive ourselves, and anyone else we have injured; and let us be passionate in our thanks, for everything we experience, in every way that we can. The Trinity invites us to join the dance! 4 May 26, 2013 ~ Solemnity of The Most Holy Trinity GATEWAY INTO WORSHIP Goal: $ 1,872,500 Report through May 10, 2013 Parish Family Participation Families in parish (total) 382 Donors (28.3%) thru 5/10/ GATEWAY INTO WORSHIP 2013 CHURCH RENOVATION UPDATE With the Church now undergoing interior renovations, some have had questions where the pews went. about Several parishioners purchased pews and some pews were donated to other parishes: San Juan de los Lagos Mission in Corpus Christi; St. Peter s Mission in Rockport; and St. Anne s Catholic Church in La Vernia where the pews will be installed in a chapel dedicated to the memory of a 5-year old girl who died of cancer. Have you visited the Parish website at There are photos that show the interior work being done. To have a successful Gateway Into Worship Capital Campaign, we need each of the 1,000 families who have not yet given to GIW to prayerfully consider making a pledge. New statue wall defines the edge of the sanctuary and creates a storage closet If 500 families each pledge $7.00 per week for 5 years, we could fully fund the Church renovation and expansion.
