2 A warm and loving welcome to everyone as we gather on this God s holy day to worship Him. A special welcome to all of our guests and visitors we are glad you have joined us! On this Sunday we celebrate the blessings and benefits for us of Christ s ascension and rejoice that He reigns over all at His Father s right hand. Pastor Chad will bring the message this morning. Voices of Praise will offer special music. This evening Pastor Sophat Duch will lead us in worship and bring the message from God s Word. 13 OUR CHURCH FAMILY Dirk Hollebeek has returned home again! Praise God for answered prayers on his behalf. Pray that God would continue to strengthen. Continue to lift Jett Ellerbroek and his family up in prayer. It appears that sentencing for Jett will take place some time in June. Bob Sluiter continues his recovery at Freedom Inn. May God continue to grant healing mercies. Remember Jack Nykamp and Ella Groman in their recoveries as well. Ken Hoekstra spent time in the hospital being treated for pneumonia. Pray for a full and speedy recovery for Ken. Ron Compagner is scheduled for hip replacement surgery on Thursday, May 31. Pray for Ron as he prepares for this surgery. We offer our heartfelt Christian sympathy to Trudy Baker and the family and friends of Lou Baker who went to be with the Lord in glory last Friday morning, May 4. May the God of all comfort sustain you in your loss and sorrow and may His promise of life eternal for those who live and die in Him bring you peace.
