Let us, therefore, enter into dialogue with our creator. We confess without reservation that our dialogue with you, O God, is not really a dialogue. Most often, we are asking without listening and complaining without offering thanksgiving. We pray, and cannot understand why we get no response. Awaken us to wonder: If you called, would we answer? Or would you get a busy signal? Would you leave a message, and get no answer in return? We confess anew our impatience and our unwillingness to sit in the holy stillness of your presence. Forgive us, loving God. Thank you for letting us try again. In this minute of silence, let us be still and listen to what you would say to us this day. One minute of silent prayer Assurance of Pardon Even when we try and fail again and again, God loves us still. In the richness of God's grace, we accept the peace of Christ, which passes all understanding. Amen.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.* On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. 9 Offering Prayer Assisting Minister: Let us pray Through our offerings, Creator God, we proclaim you as incarnate in Christ to the world. We offer ourselves as advocates for those in need, seekers of justice, as stewards of hope. We place our confidence in the mystery of you and the mystery of your glorious Word opened up among your people. Amen. Great Thanksgiving (Presiding minister greets the assembly and invites all present to give thanks.) The Spirit of God be with you. And also with you. Lift your hearts to heaven Where Christ in glory reigns. Let us give thanks to God It is right to offer thanks and praise. Eucharistic Prayer Presiding Minister: All glory to you, Giver of life sufficient and full for all creation. 10 Lord s Prayer Presiding Minister: Gathered into one by the Holy Spirit, let us pray as Jesus taught Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen. Invitation to Communion Come and be fed with the promise and blessing of God. Communion Please come forward as the ushers direct. You will be given bread. You may eat the bread and drink; or intinct (dip) in the large cup and eat. The silver cup has wine; the oversize pottery cup has grape juice. Pastor has gluten free wafers if you need, just ask. After you commune, feel free to kneel at the altar rail in silent prayer. 10
