As we continue our Advent journey to the celebration of the birth of Christ, may our hearts be filled with joy to know the King of kings and Lord of lords as our wonderful Savior. 11 OUR CHURCH FAMILY John Meier underwent surgery on Monday morning after a fall at home that resulted in a broken hip. Pray that everything heals nicely and that John finds relief from pain. Dorothy Zoerman continues to gain strength at home after being treated for infection. Pray that Dorothy is soon feeling better. Continue to remember Ella Groman in her recovery from pneumonia. Dirk Hollebeek and his family continue to need our prayerful support for God s healing mercies in his life and renewed strength. While tests showed he does not have the CMV infection he continues to received medication to combat high iron levels. Pray for good results from that new medication. Ruth Timmer remains under Hospice care at Medilodge. Nan Mulder continues in her recovery from knee replacement surgery. For a full and speedy recovery for her. Chet Dreyer is scheduled for GI surgery tomorrow in Ann Arbor. Pray that the procedure goes well and for a speedy recovery. Lift Jett Ellerbroek up in your prayers that God would continue to work in his heart true repentance and gratitude for His provision for Jett. Because this season of year can be a particularly difficult time for our shut-in members, please be reminded that there are bags at the back of church to encourage them with cards, notes and greetings. This is the last day for you to deposit your cards as the young people will be delivering them TONIGHT after evening worship. Council approved Juliet Das, Olav Das, Ben Biswas and Hoaming Zhang to make Profession of Faith. We praise and thank God for the working of His Spirit in the hearts and lives of these His children. Watch for a date for their public professions to be scheduled. We offer our sincere Christian sympathy to Shelby Beagle in the passing of her brother, Bob Beagle, on Tuesday. May the God of all peace and comfort sustain Shelby and her family in this time of loss and sorrow. CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS CHILDREN S WORSHIP will meet as usual this morning.
