2 Dear Trinity Lutheran Church, With a heavy heart, I wish to inform you that due to my increased Synod responsibilities as part of the bishop's staff, I cannot continue to provide the level of commitment to Trinity that the staff and congregation need and deserve. I will remain in my current capacity until May 6, After that point, I will continue to maintain a connection with Trinity in my capacity on the bishop's staff as the Synod's Director for Evangelical Mission (DEM) to develop new mission. I think that Trinity Lutheran Church is well-poised to be a leader in new mission in our Synod, and I am excited to walk alongside you in this new capacity. Thank you for the wonderful experience you have provided me during my time here. I am more than grateful to have had the opportunity of working with the staff and congregation. It has been a joy and honor to get to know you in such meaningful ways. While I will miss the weekly time with you, I look forward to future occasions to worship, connect, and serve alongside you. With love and grace, Rev. Jennifer Hope-Tringali ("Pastifer Jenn") PARTY! Happy 120th Birthday, Trinity! Celebrate with us on Sunday, April 22, 9:30-11:00 am. All are invited (not just kids) to celebrate Trinity's birthday by participating in a buildingwide adventure beginning in the Gathering Space. Several stops along the way will engage folks in dreaming about our plans for future expansion and renovation. This is your chance to celebrate how far we've come and help us THINK BIG about our future.
3 Volunteers will be stationed at each stop on the adventure to explain the vision and help people complete the activities. Cake, decorations, games, and more will help us all celebrate this very special day! DO NOT MISS THIS EXTRA- SPECIAL EVENT! Dinner Theatre Trilogy! Sign up NOW in the Gathering Space or online to attend and/or volunteer for the remaining TWO FREE dinners at our Luther Rose Dinner Theatre. It s a zany and clever creation of our capital appeal events team. Each event features a fancy dinner, a capital appeal story, and a fun show. Registration for the April 15 show ( Star Trek, The Lutheran Generation ) is closed! So don t miss the next two: Sun., April 29, 5:30 pm: Little Lutheran Rascals Sun., May 6, 5:30 pm: Batman Forever Lutheran Admission is free tickets required. Thank you in advance for your generosity again this year. Float Update: Thank you to the eight people who submitted ideas for Trinity s first Memorial Day float. All the entries did well in the voting but only one can be our float this year. The plan from Terry Powell is the final winner. You might notice folks standing in the Gathering Space today holding signs saying ASK ME.
