Experience the Last Supper, the crucifixion, the empty tomb, and more. This activity is wonderful for all ages, especially kids PreK grade 7 with parents. Don t miss it! And tell others! New this year: a special glow-in-thedark egg hunt. Help make this event special by donating plastic eggs and snack items such as juice, cookies, crackers, and pretzels. Meet in the YG room at 6 for dinner/drinks that we ll provide, and then we ll have TOTAL FUN and fellowship, including wacky YG games, and outside fun if the weather is nice. Just bring friends and snacks. For adults, too: Isaac's Community Night Fundraiser is Wednesday, April 10, from 10 am-9 pm. Eat (or take out) at Isaac s in the Lemoyne Plaza, and Isaac s will donate 25 percent of your bill for our youth programming and mission trip. Forms are in the Gathering Space. A huge thanks to all our Faith Connect Kids! who donated more than 300 gently used children s books as part of the 40 Days of Kindness activity. Our Trinity Tutors would love it if you can keep those gently used books coming. The tutors want to give each of their 325 second graders in the Harrisburg School District several books of their own to read over the summer. So if you can dig even deeper in your own collection and at yard sales and library book sales it would be wonderful!

5 Published weekly on Thursday Page 5 Talk to the icon artist Ed Miller from Mechanicsburg, the talented icon artist whose beautiful works are displayed in the Gathering Space and worship areas, will be in the chapel on Sunday April 14, from 9:45 to 10:45 to talk about his work and to answer questions. Shhhhh, don t tell anyone! Do NOT read this unless you are in 6th or 7th grade. The Grade 6-7 Faith Formation class (aka Sunday School) is keeping a 50-year Trinity tradition of Secret Church alive. If you re the parent of a 6th or 7th grader well, actually, you shouldn t be reading this, but if you are, send your offspring to Room 11 in the basement. We won t say too much more because, again, IT S A SECRET. It s enough to know that we ve talked about the apostles risking their lives to spread Jesus s word after His death. On March 31, we ll try on costumes and make our altar cloth; on April 7, we ll reenact an early SECRET Christian worship service in the catacombs. Kitchen notes Missing from the kitchen. Anyone see the Trinity Cook Book that s escaped from the kitchen? The kitchen crew needs it, so if you ve seen it, help it to find its way back, please! We re looking for some kitchen crew members who are available weekdays to join the fellowship in the kitchen. Our kids decorated lunch bags and then took them home to fill with non-perishable food items that we donated to New Hope Ministries. Imagine what Jesus can do with all those bags of food.

7 Published weekly on Thursday Page 7 Faith Connect Kids! 40 Days of Kindness This Lenten season, Faith Connect Kids! is serving others through 40 Days of Kindness. We ll share God s love with friends and family both in the church and in the community. Last week we learned about Jesus s miracle in feeding 5,000 people with just one child s lunch. Our kids decorated lunch bags and then took them home to fill with non-perishable food items that we donated to New Hope Ministries. Imagine what Jesus can do with all those bags of food. Week 3 March 31 Give in Secret We live in a social media world where every accomplishment, no matter our age, is shared on the internet good deeds, school or home projects, awards, activities in which we or our kids excel. Then we wait for the likes and the comments. We feel good when people notice with Way to go or You are awesome or Keep up the good work. It s like applause! But ask yourself this hard question: Do we do these things and share them because we want to inspire others -or- because we want the potential applause? Hmmmm. This week we ll talk about serving others without looking for applause (Matthew 6:1-4). Our every action should be based not on how we ll LOOK to others, but rather on how we ll HELP others using the gifts and talents God has given us. God applauds our good deeds without having to comment online. In class, each kid will make a card for someone and deliver it anonymously. At home, the kids will make cards that we ll send to our at-home members. Also this week, let s turn our cameras around to snap pictures (with permission) not of our kids doing good deeds but of folks who serve our kids mom/dad making dinner or driving the kids to school or church, grandma babysitting, a teacher teaching, Miss Amy directing the choir, or who knows what else?

The vigil begins at 9 am and ends at 3 pm; it s divided into 18 segments, 20 minutes each. Sign up for one or more segments to form a chain to pray for our Savior Jesus Christ, for His church worldwide, for our global families, for all those in need everywhere, for our pastors, for our elected leaders, and for divine guidance from God, our Father.
