Milly Baker Cadet Camp is July 13 th -16 th, please be in prayer for the health and safety of our counselors and cadets that will be attending: (Cadets) Jacob West, Andrew West, Tim Cloud, Devin Snyder, Travis Snyder, Delaney, (Counselors) Gary Schelske, Trevor Schelske and Dale Johnson. The congregation of Allen Avenue extends our heartfelt sympathy to Bob and Jean Botting and family in the passing of Bob s mother, Elizabeth Botting. Funeral services were yesterday in Grand Rapids. 6 ANNOUNCEMENTS CON T THANK YOU so much to all who have already volunteered to help with our VBS program, King's Kids July Your overwhelming response is greatly appreciated! We're still looking for help with providing snacks so if you'd like to do that or contribute money for our ice cream sundaes, just let Jill know. Also, next Sunday (July 16) is our day to pass out fliers in the neighborhood. If you can help at all with that, please let Jill know. Many hands make light work! Thanks again for your support of the King's Kids program and please keep the kids and the volunteers in your prayers. Small groups for the Fall: Because "the Books of the Bible" will not be ready for the Fall, we will read in our small groups for the Fall "Autopsy of a Deceased Church", by Thom Rainer. The books can be purchased on or Or you can sign up on the "green" sign-up sheets placed at the two entrances, or on the clipboard by coffee and cookies. Books will be ordered in early August. If you can help out with that, please contact Linda Ferguson, Unleavened Bread 1 c flour 1/3 c vegetable oil 1/8 tsp salt 1/3 c water Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix flour, oil, and salt together in a bowl. Add water and mix until dough is soft. Using your hands, form dough into six balls and press into disks onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 425* for 8-10 minutes or until bread is cooked.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. John Walhout: Please continue to pray for John. He is recovering from shingles and tired. Eric and Judith: Eric and Judith are asking for prayers. Please pray for their protection and that the Lord will provide for their needs. The Snyders: Continue to pray for all the Snyders. They have moved out and are waiting for news. Carlos and Sandee Davis: Please pray for Carlos and Sandee. They have had a rough couple of weeks with stresses, job loss and lots of small things going wrong. Ask the Lord to strengthen them.
