2 Welcome! On behalf of the Missionary Team, welcome to the 2013 Awana Fall Ministry Conference. We are so glad to have you here today. We pray God would make this a very special day for you. Our conference theme for this year is Stand: Committed to the Gospel. Each year we hope to challenge and encourage you in this thing we call Awana. This year we hope to have you stop and consider the Gospel and be intentional in presenting it s urgent message. Thank you to Foothill Bible Church for hosting this conference. We are blessed to have such a wonderful facility in which to meet together. The skill set you need to be a successful Student Leader is exactly the same skill set as an adult leader. Pick the ones that are applicable to the clubs you will be serving in. One that encourages family devotions and allows you to buy them directly from Awana? Where you can learn and memorize the same verses the kids are learning with a Parent Handbook that matches one to one with all of the Sparks and Handbooks? Check in out during Workshop 3A ART System Have you checked out the ART system on the national Awana web site? Tons of helpful tools, Awana clip art, great training videos called Club Clinic, a digital library, Newsletters, lessons and so much more. You can get lost for days, another one of Awana hidden jewels. This workshop will talk about who they are and how youth ministry leaders fit into their lives.
