If you plan to attend, please write the number of people attending on the green member card. 2.) Due to the cost of the meals this year, we ask that if you are unable to attend to please call the church office by Noon on Tuesday to cancel. 3.) If you make reservations and do not attend, we kindly ask that you plan to pay the $10.00 due as that cost still has to be paid to the catering company. 4.) If you plan to eat but did NOT make reservations, please call the church office by Noon on Tuesday. Everyone eating must make a reservation so the catering company prepares enough food. Driver: Pick up men at Room In The Inn center, return them in the morning. Set-up Sleeping Area: Lay out bed pads, make beds, set out toiletries and towels. Evening Meal Team: Prepare hearty home cooked meal (to be served around 6:00 PM.). Share the meal with guests, and clean kitchen. Breakfast: Provide frozen breakfast sandwiches or other easy warm breakfast options. Items should be delivered on Saturday. Sunday Morning Clean-up: Clean and return bed pads and pillows to storage, clean and setup class rooms used for sleeping quarters. Clean guest bathrooms and check TV (youth room). Everything needs to be in order by 8:45 AM. Becky Young has volunteered to wash sheets and bath towels. Sack Lunches: Provided by Dot New Circle Members.

4 February Hunger & Help Offering Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee opened its doors in 1978 with commitment from several community leaders. The purpose of the organization was to provide a central distribution center for companies, groups and individuals who wished to help provide food for hungry people in Middle Tennessee. Second Harvest s mission is to feed hungry people and work to solve hunger issues in our community. Modeled after the first food bank established in Phoenix in the mid-1970s, Second Harvest was designed to collect food that would otherwise be wasted, inspect and sort this food, and distribute it to soup kitchens, pantries, and shelters serving the hungry. During the first year, this process resulted in a total distribution of 160,000 pounds of food to 75 member agencies. Today, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of the largest and most comprehensive of over 200 food banks and food distribution centers nationwide. During the 2016/2017 fiscal year, Second Harvest distributed more than 32 million pounds of food to more than 490 Partner Agencies, providing more than 26 million meals of food to hungry children, families and seniors throughout our 46-county service area. Money: the money will be used to purchase dairy products and to purchase gift cards to help families purchase gasoline and baby products.
