4 Our history An act of reconciliation after the first World War Christian education to promote peace and unity in Europe A new start after Word War II Education for Democratic Citizenship, Respect of Human Rights Opening doors after the fall of the Iron Curtain Regaining and preserving the values of Christian education, encouraging dialogue in an open, pluralistic society Member organisations today coming from: Austria, England, Estonia, France,, Ireland, Hungary, The Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Wales
