2 Announcements A women s bible study will be starting at the church on Tuesday, January 29, from 9-11am for 7 weeks. We will be doing the study: Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer. This study includes 5 short lessons to do each week on your own. Sign up in the narthex, or contact Sue Johnson or Vicki Maxwell TODAY and a book will be ordered for you. They will be distributed on the 29th. The cost will be $16. If you have any questions, please contact Vicki at or vicki.l.maxwell78@gmail.com. This is how Lifeway describes the study: Interruptions. They re aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! Priscilla redefines interruptions and shows that interruption is actually God s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life the result was revival in an entire city. The Children's Ministry Council (CMC) would like to invite everyone to help the kids of Helmar in the coming year. There are signup sheets on the narthex bulletin board for various events and programs. We need many volunteers. Thank you in advance! Sanctity of Life Sunday Pick up one of the many baby bottles you sitting on the ledges and fill with your loose change, bills or you can even write a check (to P.I.C.). All proceeds from the baby bottles goes to the Pregnancy Information Center in Aurora. DWWC Booklets are available in the narthex & lobby. THANK YOU to everyone who helped in any way with our Kumla Dinner! So much work involved, setting up, taking down, baking, making Kumla, serving. It takes many volunteer hours to put this dinner on and everyone s help is much appreciated.
