2 February 11, 2018 Praise the Lord Ladies, It s that time of the year again Ladies, when we can retreat from the daily routine of life, and spend time in His presence, sorting out the vicissitudes of life. It is Christ who gives us strength to rise above life s challenging situations, and mount on wings like the eagle, run and not be weary, walk and not faint in difficult times. These are the times when we feel like we re all alone, and all hope is gone, but not so! Now, thanks be to GOD who always causes us to triumph in Christ and makes manifest the fragrance of his knowledge by us in every place, 2 Cor. 2:14. Whatever place we find ourselves, know that GOD is near! We are excited about the opportunity to experience the miraculous move of GOD during Retreat Our theme this year is Rising Above the Storm. We are truly blessed to have the prayers and powerful support and covering of our pastor, Bishop R.E. Hairston, Psy. D., over the past 32 years. So, plan now to attend this year s retreat 2018 and learn how to walk through those difficult times in life with pure victory and peace. 3 I m sure many of these topics will address your need for this time and season in life. Join us in the excitement as we anticipate coming together beginning Wednesday, April 18th th at 7:00 p.m. hosted by Grace Apostolic Temple, worshipping at the Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church, located at 9656 Waters Ave South, Seattle, WA. On Thursday, April 19th we will journey to the beautiful Miracle Ranch (Crista Camps) in Port Orchard, WA to host our 3-day retreat, with room assignments beginning at 1:00 p.m. Our retreat convenes Thursday through Saturday, April 21 nd until 3:30 p.m. closing with our signature session, the IMPARTATION. This is the time when GOD seals all that He has imparted into us throughout the entire weekend. Our Saturday Morning Glory session coordinated by 1 st Lady Renee Forest of King of Glory and the Women of Glory Team, will culminate with a special focus on being in His Presence. It is during these downloads from the throne that burdens are lifted, spiritual directions, miracles, and anointed gifts are received from the Holy Spirit. You don t want to miss this great move of GOD during this year s 32 nd annual retreat. Each year the LORD has shown his miraculous power, anointing, teaching and deliverance through our highly anointed out of town speakers: Evangelist Patricia Bowers Daniels, and Evangelist Krista Tyson. They will be complemented by our highly anointed women from the great Pacific Northwest: Apostle Helen Sadler, 1 st Lady, Dr. Lady Lillian Robertson, M.D. OB/GYN, 1st Lady Renee Forest, 1 st Lady JoAnn Hairston, Prophetess Kathy Gibson, and Miss Ashleigh Hairston, our Improvisation Specialist, who will keep healthy humor alive. Our guest Psalmist, Minister Lakeisha Solomon of Los Angeles California will usher us into His presence with Praise and Worship. 4 Each year we are blessed to have our local artist/musician and dear friend who serves as our Minister of Music, Lucia Francine Wiggins. This highly anointed musician and minister knows how to usher in the presence of GOD through anointed music and praise. She is a gift to this retreat ministry. We thank GOD for her commitment and support over the years. Special thanks and appreciation is extended to the Grace Apostolic Temple praise team, under the leadership of Minister Patricia Hairston for ushering us into his presence during the Wednesday night and Sunday services. This year we will experience the Praise Dance Ministry of the Pacific Northwest District Council under the leadership of Minister Laquita Cormier. Minister Cindy Casey of Victory Christian Outreach Church in St. Louis, MO will lead our Friday morning Breathing Life through the Word as you walk the lovely campsite grounds early in the morning. For those who choose to meet GOD inside the house, Evangelist Robin Edmon will coordinate our Face-Down Prayer.
