Forgive us for ever doubting to see your work in the still things, the busy things, the darkest moment and the everyday, under-noticed plod of life. Forgive us when we balk at action, and refuse to turn on fully the tap of compassion, settling for a mere trickle. Open us now to your love that lets us relax into life, and fill us with trust, hope and justice. Amen.
3 -3- ASSURANCE OF GOD S LOVE - Pastor Terry Within every seed of doubt, there is a tree of life and hope. In those times when our faith falters, when we cannot see the presence of the Holy among us, God takes our faith and transforms it, patiently showing us the many ways Christ walks among us. Look around you: as close as your own beating heart, and in the eyes of your nearest neighbor, grace abounds at the heart of all life. You are all God s children, loved without condition. Amen. GLORIA PATRI Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen. Please be seated. INVITATION TO SHARE Deacon Mary Ann Gregory God calls us to joyful giving. Giving is at the heart of God s work. Let us give joyfully that which we are able to give knowing that our gifts will help others to see the blessed miracle of God s unending love. OFFERTORY Please stand. DOXOLOGY Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen. May it be so, through the power of your Holy Spirit. Amen. Please be seated PRAYER REQUESTS Pastor Terry -4- PREPARING OUR HEARTS FOR PRAYER Change my heart, O God, make it ever true.
