5 Mandala Coloring as Meditation #3 Color Pencil Version with the Mandala Lady Maureen Frank Saturday September 30th 10am-12pm, $25 I provide a delightful and inspiring way to awaken our Creative Spirit as a meditation practice. For this workshop, I bring prints outs with just a circle on them. Included in the workshop, I demonstrate two ways to color intuitively. As part of the presentation I demonstrate how we "doodle" a mandala based on whatever issues or concerns we may be experiencing in our life right now. I talk about setting intentions and allowing the mandala to "create itself" as a way to process the issue, helping us to tap into our own inner guidance. I facilitate this process with a guided meditation. As time permits, we can examine our colorings for any messages, guidance, and/or insights. All skill levels welcome. Materials provided. A tribute to Inga Patton Ingibjorg Kristjana Patton died peacefully at home with family on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00p.m. She was born to Gudlaug Brynjolfsdottir and Gudjon Gudjonsson on August 1, 1925 in Reykjavik. Inga married John David Patton on May 4, He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps and worked across the street from her home at Eiriksgata 25. Gloria Margret Gudlaug, her two-year-old daughter, accompanied them to Amarillo Texas that same year. Three living sons were born to Inga and John: John David Patton Jr. in 1947; Arthur Gudjon in 1949; and Steven Matt in Twin sons died after birth in John Patton worked as a master mechanic in the motor pool at Keflavik Naval Air Station from 1956 through The family then returned to Amarillo Texas until the sons graduated from school. John Jr. and Arthur served in the U.S. military. John Jr. spent a full career in the Army. He served a tour in Vietnam. Arthur left the service following a tour in Germany. He was rendered partially paralyzed by an automobile accident in Inga was his caregiver for the next 36 years. John and Inga moved to Adak Alaska for work with the U.S. Department of Defense. His responsibilities included oversight and supervision for all motorized vehicles on the island. His retirement took the couple to Lady Lake Florida. John died of numerous cancers in October, Inga and Arthur remained in Florida until Arthur suffered another stroke in November Inga was no longer able to care for them at that point. Inga and Arthur moved to Salem Oregon in February 2013 when Gloria retired from her work. Gloria and Inga travelled extensively until a fall in March 2016 left Inga abed following a concussion. She declined with Alzheimer s disease. A birthday party had been planned for August 5 and many family members were present to lovingly send Inga on her last journey. She passed surrounded by those who love her. Inga is survived by her four children and spouses: Gloria Sherrill, John Patton Jr. and Dreama Williams, Arthur Patton, Steven Patton and Lisa Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren plus twins due in October. Inga will be interred beside her mother in Iceland on August 1, We love you and miss you Inga..From your H.O.M.E. Center Family
